“I think we should end this.” Kaveh says one morning while they’re having breakfast, eyes fixed on his plate as he mindlessly pushes his food around with shaky hands.
He tries to ignore the way silence falls over the table, knows
Haitham has forgotten his plate and is looking right at him. Kaveh can feel his eyes on him like as if they were a caress against his skin, though given the situation, it feels suffocating.
“What do you mean?” Haitham finally asks.
There’s something about his calm tone that
makes Kaveh’s heart clench a bit, the knot in his throat tightens and he has to take a shaky breath to calm himself. He was hoping for another reaction, maybe a bit of that aloof side of Haitham, perhaps a detached response, he prepared himself. But there’s nothing but gentle
inquiry in Haitham’s words, an almost imperceptible undertone of confusion
But Kaveh knows him better than anyone else just like how Haitham does with him. It only makes things harder, and Kaveh has to tighten his hold on the cutlery to keep his hands from shaking too much.
He feels like he might throw up and he knows the alpha’s eyes haven’t looked away for a second.
“This…thing. Between us.” His voice comes out just a bit too shaky and Kaveh hates it
He pushes himself off the table and grabs his plate, not looking up at all as he turns towards
the sink. He busies himself with the dirty dishes but there’s pretty much none of them so he simply stands there, hands presses against the counter as he tries to swallow down the knot in his throat
It’s so quiet that for a moment Kaveh thinks Haitham has stood up and left, so he
can’t help the way his body jumps a bit when that monotonous voice breaks the silence,
“What made you reach that decision?”
Haitham asks in calm way he always does and something inside Kaveh snaps, the little side of him that’s always reminding him he won’t ever be enough.
It’s infuriating and it hurts and Kaveh can feel his eyes stinging already with frustration tears as he turns around. Haitham’s got his head tilted a bit to the side, just looking at him, and even though Kaveh can’t smell his scent entirely, he knows there’s confusion in it.
“I’m a beta.” He finally says, hating the way that word feels on his tongue.
Haitham’s eyes narrow a bit, his brows pinching together in a confused frown as he takes in those words. His mouth opens but before he can say anything, Kaveh continues.
“You’re an alpha.” Kaveh points out as he leans back against the counter, he feels shaky and vulnerable, voice cracking a bit as he continues
“I won’t ever be able to give what you need. I’m no omega, I can’t scent you or help you through your ruts. I can’t hold your bite like
mated pairs. I won’t ever be able to properly court you back and-“ Kaveh’s hands are shaking at his sides where he’s clenched them into fists, the knot in his throat tightening and feeling almost suffocating. His eyes are fixed on the floor, unable to look up at the Scribe as he
takes a slow, shaky breath.
“You’re an alpha. You could have any omega…experience everything I can’t give as a beta and-“
“Kaveh”
Haitham’s calm and deep voice cuts through his thoughts so suddenly that Kaveh jumps a bit. He doesn’t want to look up, knows it’ll break the
resolve he’s been building for days to say all of this. But he can’t help it…so he does.
He’s not sure what to expect, so when he finds teal eyes looking at him, something warm and gentle reflected on them, Kaveh can’t help but feel a bit lost. Haitham tilts his head a bit to
the side, as if contemplating something. And Kaveh can’t look away.
“Is that what you really want?” The alpha finally asks, his voice a gentle rumble that buries under the beta’s skin.
Is that what he really wants? It’s not what Kaveh was expecting but the answer comes to him
in a second, flooding his thoughts.
No. No it’s not. He loathes the thought actually.
But Kaveh has never been a selfish person. He knows what it means to find a mate, to find the one you were made for, your other half. He knows despite being very aware as well, that it’s
something he was not made for.
“It’s how it should be” he replies, so soft it’s almost a whisper as he looks back down, unable to hold Haitham’s gaze
There’s a couple seconds of silence in which Kaveh wants to run, but also feels too drained to even move. He’s considering just
closing his eyes and wait for Haitham to leave when there’s a deep, contemplative hum, then the sound of a chair scraping against the floor
Kaveh looks up, a bit startled when he notices Haitham’s making his way towards him, eyes fixed on the beta, steps slow and calm. For a
moment Kaveh can’t help but feel like he’s being stalked and cornered, and he presses himself even more against the counter.
Faster than he can process it, Haitham’s suddenly standing right in front of him, the couple centimeters he has over Kaveh forcing the beta to look up at
him. There’s a couple seconds where Haitham simply looks at him, and then he brings one hand up, gently cradling Kaveh’s face.
Haitham leans forward, tilting Kaveh’s head to the side just enough so he can press his temple against the beta’s, pulling a shuddering breath from
Kaveh with the gentle gesture.
“I’m a beta…” Kaveh tries again, voice trembling and impossibly soft, barely audible.
The alpha hums again, rubbing his temple against Kaveh’s as he slowly moves his hand down, gently pressing his wrist to the beta’s neck, fingers grazing
Kaveh’s nape as Haitham moves his wrist up and down. The gesture makes Kaveh inhale sharply; Haitham’s scenting him.
“I can’t do it for you…you know this…” he murmurs, voice hoarse, the knot in his throat tightening just a bit.
Haitham hums again before gently pressing his
lips to that spot on Kaveh’s neck that never fails to make the beta tremble.
“I’m aware of that.” He simply says before oh so slowly moving his lips, gracing gently down the expanse of Kaveh’s neck and nipping gently when he reaches his collarbone.
“I don’t even have a scent…” he tries again, breath hitching a bit when Haitham moves his hands, fingertips tracing lightly down his spine and finding their place on Kaveh’s waist. “You need an omega…”
Haitham ignores him completely as he moves his lips back up and over the
juncture between neck and shoulder, leaving a trail of open mouthed kisses as his fingers slip underneath Kaveh’s shirt.
“I have no need, nor do I want an omega.” He replies against Kaveh’s skin, his warm breath making the beta shiver as Haitham’s wrists press against his waist
this time, fingers digging gently into the skin as he moves them up and down, still scenting Kaveh. “And you do carry a scent.”
/Mine/ is the unspoken word but Kaveh knows it anyway.
He lets his forehead rest on Haitham’s shoulder, sighing deeply when he feels the alpha’s lips
pressing against his neck again, and then he takes a deep and slow breath
He can’t smell it, at least not entirely, he knows this. But if he closes his eyes, if he focuses on it for just a moment…there-he can feel Haitham’s scent enveloping him, a warm and soothing essence
dancing all around him. His stomach flips a bit with the gentle and yet possessive display, and not for the first time, Kaveh really wishes he could smell it completely
“Your bite…I can’t carry it…” he mumbles, tongue feeling tied and heavy with Haitham’s non-stopping touches.
He feels the alpha huff against his neck, and then there’s a warm tongue pressed right over his jugular, right where Kaveh’s pulse beats erratically
“I’ll replace it as many times as you want. Right…here.” The alpha mutters slowly, gracing his teeth over the exact spot and
making Kaveh shudder all over, a breathy gasp slipping past his lips when Haitham sinks his fangs tenderly, just a ghost of what a real bite could be.
Perhaps it’s that gesture or the fact that Haitham’s hands haven’t stopped scenting his back and waist, perhaps it’s a mix of
those two, but Kaveh can’t stop himself from bringing his ow hands to the alpha’s hips, fingers gripping tight.
“What about courting…” he wonders out loud, feeling insecure and anxious. Courting was something considered sacred, the forging of a bond between mates.
It was not something common for Betas.
Haitham squeezes Kaveh’s hips just a bit, pulling him even closer so their chests were pressed against one another. There was a deep rumble coming from the alpha, and only then did Kaveh realize Haitham was purring for him, a calming and
grounding action just for him. Kaveh couldn’t help but melt against the Scribe’s chest.
“I don’t care about that. But I’ll do it, if it means that much to you, I’ll do it.”
Kaveh has to close his eyes and take a deep and slow breath, trying to calm his beating heart and stop
the tears from falling down. He can feel his own purr stuck in his throat, desperate to answer in the same comforting manner Haitham did for him. But he holds it back
“You could have anyone you wanted…” he whispers, lips pressed against the alpha’s shoulder to try and hide how
shaky and unsteady his voice sounds.
He can feel Haitham’s smile pressed against his neck just for a couple seconds before the alpha pulls his head up just a bit, just enough to press his lips to Kaveh’s temple once again.
“I’ve never wanted anyone else.” He says, voice calm and deep, his purring growing louder as he presses a kiss on that same spot. “And I don’t think I’ll ever will.”
That’s what finally makes Kaveh break. He lets himself fall forward, putting all his weight on Haitham and just
melting within the embrace as he finally allows his own purring to run free, much weaker than Haitham’s but still there
He presses a sloppy kiss to the side of Haitham’s neck, a shaky laugh slipping past his lips.
“You better not regret those words, because I’m not going anywhere from now on.” He says before biting playfully and gently on the alpha’s neck.
Haitham huffs against the beta’s temple, feeling amused and fond with those words.
“Wouldn’t want it any other way.” He mumbles before pulling Kaveh impossibly closer to him.

“Ngh- Ah!” Kaveh moans into the pillow, hands clenching on the bedsheets as a notification pings on his laptop, signaling a new donation
And then, a low, rumbling chuckle above him that makes Kaveh shiver.
“C’mon now, they wanna see your face…”
A deep and hoarse voice murmurs behind him, making Kaveh clench unconsciously around the cock still deep inside them, a pleased hum coming from the man above him.
The hand on his hip tightens for a second and then oh so slowly starts to make its way up Kaveh’s side, long fingers
skimming over his ribs, then over his chest, flicking one of his nipples and making Kaveh moan on the way up.
A warm palm presses against his neck, wrapping around it as long ringed fingers circle his throat, the sensation making Kaveh tremble as his head is pulled up gently
There’s a giggle right by Haitham’s ear as soon as the words are out of his mouth, making the Scribe sigh as he adjusts his hold on Kaveh’s thighs, his steps slow and careful as he
carries the architect back home.
Kaveh wraps his arms around Haitham’s neck, pressing yet another open mouthed, kinda sloppy, kiss against warm skin. The night breeze hitting that lil wet spot makes Haitham shiver, and Kaveh’s giggles again.
"Am not! Am…completely sober. The soberest of them all!”
He finishes those words with a slurred chuckle, tightens his hold around Haitham’s neck and pushes himself back, stretching his legs and forcing the Scribe to stop abruptly, his hands under Kaveh’s thighs the only thing
Kaveh mumbling curses and complaining bc he can’t find his favorite and very expensive pen to work on his projects
Alhaitham watching amused from afar as Kaveh turns everything upside down trying to find the pen that’s still tucked in the architect’s hair
He’s pretending to read his book but it’s hard not to react when Kaveh keeps moving all the furniture and calling for the pen as if it will answer to him. All this while said pen is still neatly tucked behind the braid Kaveh does on his hair
“Have you seen my pen?” Kaveh asks, sounding mortified
Haitham stares at said pen for a couple seconds, then back at his roommate who’s pretty much disassembling their divan
“No” Haitham answers, turning his eyes to his book but not reading a single word
There’s a pile of freshly washed, unscented blankets right on Haitham’s favorite spot and a very obvious Kaveh that’s trying to be discreet and failing miserably on the other side of the divan.
Haitham takes a sip from his tea to hide the lil smile
on his lips, his alpha getting all happy and excited as it always does when he realizes those are Kaveh’s nesting blankets. Every single one of Haitham’s instincts pushes him to grab those blankets and scent them, he can even tell his scent has gone a bit softer and sweeter with
the idea of helping his omega
But Haitham’s got other plans, a part of him inciting him to tease and play. So he simply puts his teacup down on the coffee table and sits on the other side of the divan, right besides the blankets, and opens his book. He doesn’t miss the way the

It is common knowledge between MSBY and their fans that Miya Atsumu likes to wear lipstick.
It all starts with those lil moisturizing chapsticks that come in different flavors and
Atsumu who’s always carrying at least one of them with him bc apparently his lips are very sensitive and they get dry so easily.
Then there’s a particular tiktok on their team’s account where they are supposed to show a bit of their routine, which they do.
But it so happens
that something else ends up showing in the background of said tiktok, and that is Miya Atsumu reapplying his chapstick.
And hell breaks loose.
There’s thousands of screenshots taken and shared around, all of them horribly blurry, though it’s not like Kiyoomi spent a good
