I’m giving this real hot take. Viaan is a pro. He has already noticed Katha’s changes and is lowkey keeping calm inside. Then he intentionally says awkward romantic things that mean nothing and yet a lot at once and then wants to gauge her reactions. #KathaAnkahee
And there was one part that stood out to me. When Katha was mentioning that despite not liking that flavor, she liked the ice cream, Viaan burst into laughter. I don’t know if it was only me that got it but that laughter was full of meaning .
He was laughing even before she finished because it’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy where he can already see her changes and the ice cream as a similar analogy to her actions. He was so amused and intentional.
That guy knows what he is doing. And he knows this is the perfect time to do all this because there is no way someone as intelligent as he hasn’t noticed her actions to him. Right from when he was with the baby and he caught her staring and she looked away,
Viaan has always had this quietly amused reaction as if he is just pretending to match her pace. And even all those times where she would ask about his state or when in the meeting, she told him to guide her if she does wrong, he was smiling at her. That smile
Was so amused as if he was watching a very interesting show. That’s the vibe I get from Viaan. He is watching Katha’s play where she acts like she has no feelings for him. He can see it and is saying nothing but all he can to push himself deeper without being noticed.
And then we see all those ‘random intense comments’, all those actions he wouldn’t have before like pouring out coffee for her and asking ‘if she will like a walk’. The later questions are like tests where he having trial and error. If she says no, there is more work to

Being a foodie and reading magazines intensely, even self-care. It has been well placed so there is so mismatch - except you recall Viaan from the start. He was the one Teji was pushing to exercise. And even if Viaan was in a dark place, hobbies like reading female
Catering magazines or liking food a lot would still be normal. He has always been well-rounded so these could just add so that we can still see them in every ep like his charisma and intelligence. Cvs must just have added them to give him convos with Katha. And
They have put in effort to do it well so that it doesn’t feel like it is new. Unless you think hard to recall Viaan from earlier, you won’t recall these are new attributes. And that is amazing on its own.
