One interesting story I read today in #theindianexpress .
As you can see in this article that on 2nd Jan 1972. A #PakArmy Cessna L-19 force landed near Maili and Sarangal villages in Hoshiarpur district. And on board was a dead body of Pakistani Major.
(2) And the aircraft was flown by young bengali second lieutenant Muhammad Humayun Raja of the Corps of Signals who shot the pilot of the aircraft Major Muhammad Qasim after the pair took off from the Gujranwala in west Punjab.
The young Bengali officer who belong to Pabna in Bangladesh wanted to defect to India but had not found any opportunity to do so during the 1971 War.
