A guy who got arrested for driving without a license is spending more time in prison than most of the capitol rioters. Garland/DOJ have been slow-walking these prosecutions on purpose and delivering a bare minimum. There's no legal rationale for it.
We've been hearing Trump is going to be held accountable for 6 years. If the justice system worked like this for everyone, our jails would be empty. The fed case in S. FL is going to stretch past 2024, and $5 says DOJ doesn't ask for Cannon to step aside.
The failures from Democrats are really piling up, and the "13 million jobs" argument is pretty hollow considering that most of those jobs were post-covid re-hires. Total jobs added is +3 million compared to pre-pandemic.
Irony: Guy whose companies were built on the core principles of free-flowing information and ESG, made so much money he now platforms and pays nazis, and hates ESG.
"Italian officials... unexpectedly offered a potentially explosive tip linking Trump to financial crimes...But rather than assign it to another prosecutor, Barr had Durham investigate the matter himself."
Here's the fkn problem. Republicans are ALSO lamenting that there are 2 standards of justice, but they are the beneficiaries of it. That's how dishonest they are. There's no upside to softballing this stuff.
FPL failed to take over JEA in Jacksonville, and that led to high profile corruption indictments. So, now they have their sights set on Gainesville, and are also likely to fail there too, but the efforts to stop it could use some help.
“It was stunning for me to read the indictment, and for anybody to defend him at this point, I think you're stupid and ignorant or you're just part of this cynicism of wanting to win regardless of what's right for the American people,”
Florida is bursting at the seams with human sewage. Thank a real estate developer, a lobbyist, and your corrupt local officials for that. But especially thank a Republican, bc they have been running the state for 25 years.
Historical analogy is fun, right up until you meet the RealPolitick of the day. Suggesting America needs a butchering dictator while being one of the greatest beneficiaries of a liberal democracy is just plain fn dumb.
If you think corrupt and racist #WayneIvey wouldn't be put in charge of the FBI or Homeland Security, you do not know Ron DeSantis. Imagine an Ashley Moody US Atty General.
Republicans like this. Republicans are going to vote for this.
That's encouraging, but if Democrats are excited about this, they haven't been paying attention. GOP women vote republican DOWN. THE. BALLOT. no questions asked. There is not, and never will be, some mythical republican crossover vote.
You know what else triggers endorphins and seratonin? Exercise and a job well done. Plus, those two things will generally get you laid, which is like even more. It's kinda profound, now that I think about it.
Stalin's regime probably killed as many people as the nazis. If not more.
Report on DOMINION voting machines coming out of Federal Court in Georgia details a stunning array of vulnerabilities in both their Election Management Systems and Ballot Marking Devices. This report is not maga snake oil.
He vetoed funding for hundreds of things: school programs, clean water projects, land conservation, first-responder requests, clean energy and infrastructure projects...its a lot.
No more excuses, anyone denying the truth about January 6th is a liar. It was an insurrection against democracy, and a pre-meditated violent attack on the nation's capitol.
🧵 1/ Phosphate mining in Florida is a huge problem. Radioactive roads, fish kills, toxic mountains, cancer, and sinkholes...think #PineyPoint. There is ONE major company responsible for almost all of it, which is Mosaic, HQ'd in Tampa.
2/ Phosphate mining is how chemical fertilizer is mass-produced. It involves strip mining the surface of the land, and creating gigantic toxic waste piles called "gyp stacks".
