The first and last time I visited the mortuary, I had to assess my Christianity.
The brevity of the human life. Full of life now, without life the next second, off to the mortuary the next minute whiles eternity awaits.
But these many bodies coming to the mortuary, did they...
...know the last hour was their final hour on earth?
Did they plan where they'd spend eternity?
What am I doing to assist those around me to make the right choice?
Many of them may have argued about the "silliness" of judgement after death but they're now there alone and...
won't be able to confirm or deny to those they argued with whiles on earth.
But at least I can help the one alive to make the right decision.
Am I just comfortable going to church, Spending hours in prayer or listening to all the messages?
"Well done, thou good and faithful...
...servant", what's it about? Prayer? Church attendance? Messages listened to? Or souls won into the Kingdom?
Living everyday without salvation is very risky.
Living everyday without giving someone the opportunity of salvation is equally risky.
Grow above the social media...
...bants and get on ground to tell someone about Jesus and His salvation plan for the lost.
There's no reward for social media bants but there's a reward for soul winning.
You got saved so you can help others to be saved. Don't reduce it to social media doctrinal arguments.
Jesus said, GO YE THEREFORE AND PREACH THE GOSPEL (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19), will you?

I received lots of messages from around the world on how to study the Bible using verses.
I.e. How to have a better understanding of a particular verse of scripture and I thought to share in this thread.
In this thread, you'll be informed on; 1. How to start studying a verse 2. How to connect it to other verses
For the purpose of this thread, we'll use Genesis 1:1 as case study.
1. CHOOSE THE VERSE!
As simple as this may sound, you have to be led by the Spirit to the right verse to study. Of course, you could also select a verse you believe you need more insight into.
Case study: Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
It'll guide your walk with God and you'll get a better understanding of the kind of choices you make.
Matthew 4:1-11 talks about the 3 temptations of Jesus in the wilderness.
But do you know those temptations were just a refined form...
...of what happened in the garden of Eden?
Let's dig in!
The strategies of Satan hasn't changed over the period and that includes his temptations. He may disguise or refine them but it doesn't change and so Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 2:11 that, "Lest Satan should...
...get an advantage of us: for WE ARE NOT IGNORANT OF HIS DEVICES."
The temptations of Satan to Jesus in the wilderness is the same temptation to Adam/Eve in the garden of eden, and it's the same to man today!
Joshua 1:8 says, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt...
...make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success".
Memorizing the scriptures has a plethora of benefits but a few include;
A. Helps you exercise your mind to retain the word of God.
B. It equips you for the evil day (reference: Jesus in the wilderness).
In this thread, you'll learn very practical but simple tips and or steps to effective memorization of the scriptures.
