You know what really gets me about all this? I want to know which Conservative MPs were at the party held in the Commons on 8 December 2020.
Because I want to know exactly which steaming hypocrites of Tory MPs self righteously sat through all those months of persecution of 1/5
2/5 Boris, watching him suffer, not bothering to vote down that Labour motion in that appalling debate in April 2022, publicly running him down, even sitting on the Privileges Committee in judgement on him, knowing all the time that they had been to a party in a small room,
3/5 With alcohol, and, horror of horrors, birthday cake. Standing up in the Commons condemning him for something they had done themselves.
They should hang their heads in shame. Who would want people like that representing them?
4/5 At this moment I don't think I ever want to vote Conservative again. Labour are the enemy, but who would want "friends" like some current Conservative MPs?
As Jesus said, " Let him who is without sin cast the first stone".

Imagine you are reading a report of a trial in some far away country of a deposed leader of that country.

The witnesses are all anonymous. He may not know their names.
He may not cross examine them, neither can his lawyer.
He is not allowed his lawyer's assistance during 1/4
2/4. his own cross examination.
There is no appeal allowed of the verdict.
When he complains about this he receives a heavy penalty.
His friends are threatened with a heavy penalty when they also complain about it.
3/4 The Chair of the inquisitors has, before the trial started, declared him to be guilty.
One of the others has previously tweeted very loudly in Technicolor that he is a liar.
Another is guilty of a similar but worse offence to the one he is accused of, but hasn't told anyone.
