The other day, lawyers for Ruby Freeman submitted pardoned felon Bernie Kerik's strategic plan to steal the election, which he sent to Mark Meadows on 12/28/2020.
I assume it was previously released but I hadn't looked closely.
Here's how they planned to disseminate their false claims about voter fraud.
Nothing surprising--but it's important bc THIS DOCUMENT makes false claims about Ruby Freeman, which they're suing over.
I read Rudy's depo, in which he professed not to know who the person in charge of social media outreach, TF, was, before I read WaPo's story reflecting an interview with Tom Fitton.
But as someone noted, it all seems to answer itself.
There's a VERY significant overlap between the false claims in this document and those that Stanford Integrity Project found to be the most persistent disinformation in 2020.
That is, of course, THE POINT. The reason why fascists and the useful idiots of fascists (like #MattyDickPics) are attacking efforts to curb disinformation is bc THOSE EFFORTS HELPED SAVE DEMOCRACY in 2020.
Anyway, this is all a roundabout way of saying that pardoned felon Bernie Kerik, at least, appears to have treated Tom Fitton as just as central part of the effort to steal the election as Steve Bannon (he of the recent Jack Smith subpoena) and Boris Epshteyn were.
[typo fixed]
Another thing I learned about pardoned felon Bernie Kerik that I had missed before was that he did two stints in Saudi Arabia, at least working directly for the House of Saud.
About the same time that Tim Parlatore was telling a grand jury that he did a diligent search for the missing docs at Bedminster, he was telling Ruby Freeman's attorneys he didn't have comms that they had documentary evidence he had.
Last week, when Freeman's lawyers asked Parlatore what the hold up of getting records Rudy said weren't privileged but pardoned felon Kerik said were, Parlatore said other things were more pressing that were taking priority. documentcloud.org/documents/2384…
At the time Parlatore blew off Ruby Freeman's lawyers, of course, his supposedly former client the Former President was about to be indicted.
Tl;dr on motion to compel pardoned felon Bernie Kerik: He tried to comply w/Freeman's subpoena by providing the things he provided J6C. But he made privilege claims that Rudy is not making.
So now he is experiencing a "technical glitch" accessing things not turned over to J6C.
Pardoned felon Bernie Kerik seems to have the same confusion about what kind of fellow pardon recipient SB might be.
Elon would like to remind you that Trump has installed HIS OWN BUREAUCRATS to access your $$, and thus far, his high school grads have fucked up at least 5 times.
Things @elonmusk's hand-selected bureaucrats have fucked up in 2 weeks on the job:
Forced out FAA head days b4 fatal accident
Screwed up Medicaid portal
Set up a way to spam entire agencies
Did shoddy research that led @karolineleavitt to lie abt Gaza
Offered unfunded buyouts
@elonmusk @karolineleavitt Why is Trump letting the richest man in the world fuck up YOUR OWN access to services the government owes you?
Barry Loudermilk, page 18: Liz Cheney had too much authority.
@RepLoudermilk, page 12: @Liz_Cheney didn't have enough authority.
Loudermilk relied on Trump's Truth Social posts, rather than sworn testimony. I guess @RepLoudermilk is so stupid he believes everything Trump says on Truth Social?
A big part of @RepLoudermilk's attack on Cheney amounts to insinuation that @realJodyHunt acted unethically, which seems like something he might want to avoid.
Note that, contrary to common myths about the investigation into Trump, this subpoena PRECEDED Cassidy Hutchison's public testimony (and even Greg Jacob's, by a day).
The precedents were all set before Jack Smith was appointed.
Here's an interesting, almost entirely argument that bears on the immunity case. Trump was invoking Executive Privilege but (as Howell laid out) he was having such convos w/people outside of Exec, like Rudy.
Howell ordered second batch of witnesses to testify on November 19. Trump asked for a stay on December 7. In the interim, witnesses testified. That almost certainly means they are 2 Pats & likely Eric Herschmann (which is consistent w/public timeline).
Liz Cheney, Maria Shriver, and Kamala Harris sitting on a stage talking about bipartisanship.
One dynamic of this I've been tracking is this: Harris SHOULD NOT be talking nitty gritty abt Jan6 bc of the prosecution. Well, Cheney is the expert. And she speaks it well.
As she did, guy in back was nodding over and over.
Cheney: In this election, we need to elect the responsible adult.
We learned last week (from the NYT, among others!) that Trump is bypassing transition laws, meaning he--and his sons, the Saudi business partners and transition team members--could just get payments from the Saudis all the way until inauguration.
