Our forces are moving forward in Vuhledar direction (30km east from the previous attack), our command has just announced.
That was my sweet dream (and I hope this makes sense) to try to pull russian forces left and right. No way they can regroup as fast as we do. They'll be forced to plug every hole, while our artillery and MLRS will catch them on the move.
Just my dream.
Notice the road between Velyka Novosilka and Vuhledar. That's our road. All the way up until Pavlivka.

Both sides are using EW extensively, so what? What T-90 and Bradley doing? C'mon, face the reality at last.
Drones are not the future. It's the present that's changing the battlefield. China is miles ahead. With sheer quantity.
This probably need even more explanation.
By "immensely expensive equipment" I mean not only money, but also time it takes to produce it. How many Reapers can you produce a year? What about Leo 2A8? How many can you afford to lose?
There's clarification of what forces exactly have been thrown into battle (from reserves and other areas) to stop UA advance to Staromlynivka. Units of:
- 127th motor rifle division
- 37th & 60th motor rifle brigades
- 5th tank brigade
As well as brought additional units of 336th & 40th naval brigades. Everything they managed was to stop the advance of our forces. For now.
Moreover, some units of 5th tank brigade and 37 motor rifle brigade haven't even had a chance to see an enemy as they were met with artillery fire on the move and have been forced to retreat.
You'll blame me pessimist again, but that's my problem. I waited a bit and then... Each and every resource said "convoy destroyed". In somewhat different wording. I see only two vehicles destroyed. That's not a "convoy". I want to see each and every one of them in ashes.
This video however is the confirmation of what I've been writing about. Our strikes forced russians to uncover & move their forces and ammo. And that's when we met them with fire.
More about this convoy (and GS AFU reports).
According to the source of Ukrainian Truth (pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/…) the enemy lost: "3 artillery systems, 2 tankers and 8 units of various equipment".
🧵 Ukrainian Offensive. Episode 1.
On June 4, Ukrainian command posted this video. And simultaneously started offensive actions in the directions below.
On June 4-6 Ukrainian forces conducted assault actions in the direction of Novodarivka, Neskuchne, Novodonetske and Novomayorske.
Strikes at Novodonetske and Novomayorske threatened the fall of Kermenchyk with further collapse of forces defending around Staromlynivka.
Assault actions have been conducted with limited forces which already had some success while main UA forces haven't been used yet. That's why russian command decided that's already the main direction of the offensive and had to react.
Russians blown up Kakhovka Dam. Afraid of our landing operation. Trying to delay it. It will take ~4 days for the water to pass after which the river will be much narrower.
All islands, including liberated ones are under water now. But the water will go away. Making them larger.
The level of water increases 25 cm per hour now. 1 meter every 4 hours. Check this map to get the consequences. Destruction of the dam will destroy many russian positions they've built and will force them to regroup.
