1 - The Biden administration is on the verge of providing a large cash infusion to the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism, Iran.

This deal could violate U.S. law by providing Iran with $17-24 BILLION dollars. 🧵
2 - Biden's deal with Iran could unlock $7B frozen in South Korean banks, ~$10B in Iraqi banks, and access to $6.7B in IMF funds.

Part of these funds would be used to pay billions in ransom payments for three innocent Americans in Iranian jails.
3 - According to the @nytimes, the U.S. would also stop enforcing sanctions against Iranian oil exports - which provides funding for Iran's chief terror group, the IRGC, with tens of billions of dollars each year.
nytimes.com/2023/06/14/us/…
4 - This is Iranian nuclear extortion, and in return we are only asking them to stop enriching uranium at 60% purity, which they only started doing under Biden.

This doesn't keep them a single day further away from a bomb. They have more than enough material already.
5 - Biden's diplomats have been trying to avoid congressional oversight by pretending they don't have a "deal".

They are playing verbal gymnastics as this "unwritten" deal may break the 2015 INARA law that requires submission of any deal to Congress.
6 - To be clear, ANY deal in ANY form is required to be submitted to Congress for a 30-day review period BEFORE sanctions relief. Even an unwritten deal.

It's right here in the U.S. code ⬇️ Image
7 - But Biden's officials told a meeting of 100 Senators on May 17 there was no negotiations on a deal. So why is wrong? @nytimes or the Admin?

According to more media reports, there have been secret meetings by Rob Malley & Brett McGurk with Iranians.

8 - Congress needs to act NOW to stop the payments of billions in hostage ransoms, and potentially breaking the law.

They should start by using their rights to snapback all sanctions on Iran.
fdd.org/analysis/2021/…
9 - This deal is not in our national interest and is a betrayal of the Iranian people who have been protesting for months. #womenlifefreedom Image
10 - The funds Iran would get from this deal wouldn't go to hospitals, schools, and roads - it'll go to torture chambers, terrorism, and more secret police.

We know that because the data is public - I wrote about it here:

The Chinese spy balloon is the tip of an iceberg. There's a CCP spy balloon in every house and every hand that has @tiktok_us on their phone. And there's much more.🧵
1. In 2020, @FBI Director Wray gave a speech that outlined Chinese spies' invasion of American society.

The FBI has over 2,000 open cases against the Chinese government. They open a new case into the CCP every 10 hours. fbi.gov/news/speeches/…
2. The size of Chinese economic theft dwarfs GDP's of entire nations. @CBSNews reported last spring that China pillaged trillions worth of intellectual property.

The @FBI estimates the annual cost to the U.S. from Chinese theft is $225-600 billion. cbsnews.com/news/chinese-h…

Here's my list of the five least-talked-about stories in 2022 that we need to be worried about in 2023:🧵
1) Cartels made upwards of $13 billion this year from human smuggling operations - 26x more $ than in 2018. It's only getting worse. nytimes.com/2022/07/25/us/…
2) Fentanyl became the leading cause of death for Americans between 18 and 45. washingtonpost.com/investigations…

1. Last week, the Chinese Communist Party tightened how a COVID-19 death is classified, as leaked notes show officials think 250 million are infected.

The CCP says just 5,242 have died since the pandemic began. 0 this week. Google displays this propaganda at the top of a search.
2. However, dead bodies are tragically overflowing crematoriums across China. China is ravaged with cases of COVID.

Some Western models currently predict 1 million deaths in China by the end of 2023. Why is the CCP lying?
3. Ultimate control drives CCP leaders like Xi Jinping. His power is sustained and enhanced through oppression.

For the past three years, his oppression reared its head through insane lockdown policies - forcing hundreds of millions to stay inside. He can't admit failure.

You likely weren't paying attention to the Chinese meeting with Arab leaders last week— let me explain why there are now global ramifications resulting from their partnership 🧵
On Thursday, Saudi Arabia rolled out the red (purple) carpet for Xi Jinping.

The two nations published a 6,000-word joint statement following the meetings.

It deepens their partnerships across economic, military, and financial domains, while ignoring domestic purviews.
The document is a full Saudi endorsement of Chinese Communist Party propaganda - the most bold endorsement of China that a U.S. partner has taken.

🧵Christian Persecution Alert 🚨
Hong Kong's Judiciary - now controlled by the CCP - is on a rampage against religion and freedom.

Yesterday, they found 90-year old Cardinal Joseph Zen and five others guilty over funding Hong Kong protesters in 2019.

China views Hong Kong's Catholics as a threat, with some saying that they should be removed from positions of influence.

That's why they are trying to "sinecise" the Hong Kong church - meaning it will be neutered and cannibalized into Xi Jinping Thought.
economist.com/china/2022/11/…
In fact, the CCP just undermined the Vatican's 2018 agreement (just renewed) with China by unilaterally installing a bishop who pledged to “guide Catholicism to adapt to socialist society” and contribute to the “great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.”

Ok, Randi, since you decided to weigh in on foreign policy, let me educate you...🧵
While you were busy shutting down schools in 2020, @mikepompeo was busy meeting with Zelensky and making sure Russia didn't invade on our watch (spoiler alert: they didn't).

In June 2020, we pushed through $250 million in arms sales to Ukraine.
"Undermining Ukraine" you say?

We sanctioned hundreds of Russian individuals and entities for their malign activities. Biden wouldn't sanction Nord Stream II for over a year.

We gave Ukraine billions in security assistance (Javelins, not blankets).
