1~8 Dear Godber Tumushabe, your hypocrisy is mind-numbing and knows no bounds. As the #UgandaNGOexhibition reveals, your actions have exposed you as a wolf in sheep's clothing, preaching against corruption while engaging in the very practices you condemn.
2~8 While you criticize government corruption, you conveniently overlook your own misdeeds. Unpaid salaries, broken promises, and a toxic work environment are the hallmarks of your leadership, undermining the very values you claim to uphold. #UgandaNGOexhibition#HypocrisyExposed
3~8 It's astonishing how you can stand on public platforms, pretending to fight for justice and transparency, while exploiting and mistreating your own employees. Your hypocrisy undermines the fight against corruption in Uganda. #UgandaNGOexhibition#FightingCorruption
4~8 The complicity of donors in funding your projects despite the mounting evidence against you is alarming. Are they truly committed to eradicating corruption or are they enabling it by supporting individuals like you? #UgandaNGOexhibition#DonorComplicity
5~8 Your betrayal tarnishes the reputation of genuine activists in Uganda. It casts doubt on the entire NGO sector and undermines the progress made in the fight against corruption. We deserve leaders who lead by example, not hypocrites like you. #UgandaNGOexhibition
6~8 Godber Tumushabe, You sit on many boards and it's time for you to step down from your positions of influence, relinquish your power, and make way for those who genuinely fight against corruption in Uganda. We demand transparency and integrity. #UgandaNGOexhibition
7~8 Let the #UgandaNGOexhibition serve as a wake-up call to all activists, donors, and the public. We must unite against hypocrisy, demand accountability, and ensure that those who claim to fight corruption in Uganda are truly committed to their cause.
8~8 Together, we can expose the hypocrisy of individuals like him and build a more transparent, just, and corruption-free Uganda. Join the call for integrity and genuine anti-corruption efforts. #UgandaNGOexhibition#UgandaNGOsExhibition

1/ Dear Godber Tumushabe, your feeble attempt to evade the damning allegations against you in the #UgandaNGOexhibition is both pathetic and disgraceful. Dismissing valid concerns as "whining" exposes your true character - an arrogant and unaccountable individual
2/ By deflecting and refusing to face the music, you not only betray the trust of those who believed in you but also mock the very fight against corruption in Uganda. Your evasive tactics are a slap in the face of justice and accountability. #NoMoreExcuses#UgandaNGOexhibition
3/ Your vague promise to "talk again next month" is nothing but a cowardly delay tactic. It's clear you have no intention of addressing the serious allegations leveled against you. The public won't be satisfied with empty words. We demand concrete answers. #NoMoreDeception
This thread attempts to cast light on how the mgmt of #UBCLite worked in lockstep with the EC to mislead, misdirect, deceive and captivate viewers.
FYI, #UBCLite was coined by Tom Ddumba after NBS consistently became a state mouthpiece. The "adjective" fits like a glove 0/13
1/13 Take note that prior and during the elections the EC repeatedly announced that Absolutely NO ONE was allowed to have a tally center, not even the candidates. But somehow NBS was able to ignore those directives and implement what appeared to be a live tally center. Why? How?
2/13
Now the station reportedly have Monday staff meetings. On the Monday of the election week, staff were notified about an election tally center going to be hosted at their station by a selected few (the special ones)- you know these people, they stick out like a sore thumb
For the time I spent on TV, I watched NBS mainly to see what the state wanted us to hear and I watched NTV hoping to get the other side of the story. I wasn't surprised by what NBS TV did but here a few things that may be easily forgotten.
A thread 0/8
1.While NTV's Andrew Kyamagero was accreditated to update the nation with "live" tallies, the accredited UBCLite reporter was Sheila Tusiime. Dressed in yellow she said she was very excited to be reporting "live" from the National tally center. But what did Sheila report about?
2. Sheila spent the entire time given to her on the final day to praise the EC for ensuring strict adherence to covid SOPs. Sheila then went on to say the election was very peaceful & that there was no anxiety expressed on social media platforms. Sheila did not report any result
