In 2019, Puri Shankracharya Ji offered a highly insightful and precise perspective on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). With great concern, he addressed the potential consequences of the #UCC for Hindus, emphasizing the implications it holds from a traditional Hindu standpoint.
+
He points out How UCC seems to have a "hidden script" to "reshape" Hindus' thoughts and behaviors, aligning them with other religious/ non-religious systems.
+
Puri Shankracharya Ji asserts that the UCC, despite being termed as "Uniform," will primarily suppress Hindus.
+
It is further argued that in a country where Hindus are not considered first-class citizens, the government will inevitably fail to deliver justice to them. He sees this as a systematic effort to marginalize Hindus.
+
He further questions the credibility of Non-traditional and Non-authoritative appointments (specifically in Religious Studies) and the silencing of dissenting voices within the academic community.
+
We are warned that the proposed UCC may lead to the suppression of Hindus by imposing a code formulated by individuals from various 'Non-Traditional/ Non-Hindu' systems.
+
In sharing his concerns, Puri Shankracharya Ji thus warns against a UCC that undermines the essence of Hinduism and threatens the community. He believes the State's chosen path seeks to "dim the light" of Hindu values.
+
This is his original video, from which I extracted the points and shared here.

Taking a panoramic view of the structure of Hindu Monarchy, one can discern a wealth of resemblances it shares with its Regal counterparts. Would mention the views of Karpatra Swami in an other thread.
Quoting the Vladimir of Kiev, “God himself anoints the monarch to be head of the kingdom, while the president is elected by the pride of the people. The king stays in power by implementing God’s commandments, while the president does so by pleasing those who rule.
+
The king brings his faithful subjects to God, while the president takes them away from God.”
By Definition, a Monarchy is thus a majestic manifestation of divine authority in the temporal realm.
Was questioned a while back on my tweets regarding "Orthodoxy," and "Absolute Scripturalism." The Civilisational Nationalists/ Indic Warriors, and a certain school of thought labelled my position as "Abrahamic."
+
I won't challenge these schools of thought since I've resolved not to do so anymore. They are all my Brethren and are making their best efforts to defend Dharma. I must say I'm not as well read as them, but certain positions are crystal clear in my head and I've my reasonings.
+
Let me deal with "Absolute Scripturalism" firstly. I won't put forth my own words/ points here; instead, I'll make my case through the Dharmsamrat Karpatri Ji Maharaj himself.
