The result is disappointing. How do you assess the defeat in Poland?
Hansi #Flick: "In the first half, we weren't really in the game. The tempo wasn't high enough and we weren't making the deep runs we wanted to see." [DFB] #POLGER
Flick: "We have to defend set pieces in front of our goal better. In the second half, we found our way into the game a bit more. We had a lot of chances, and Szczesny was strong for them. Maybe we were also missing that little bit of luck."
This year, we have only won against Oman, Costa Rica and Peru. Is there anything to worry about?
Flick: "There are periods that go like this, but we will come out of it. I am absolutely convinced of the path we are on. I can't fault the team's commitment."
Flick: "We need results, but our conviction on the pitch is simply not there yet, and we have to get there."
We play Colombia on Tuesday. How important would a win be?
Flick: "It would be important that we go into the summer break with a positive result. A win would give us confidence and also a bit of calmness. We have to fight and win, that's our task."
There is still a year to go until the home European Championship. Is that enough time?
Flick: "We have enough time to prepare the team. I'm sure that they can do very, very well in the Euros."
Compared to the Ukraine game, you have changed the team in nine positions. What would the team look if the Euros were to start now?
Flick: "I have to let the game sink in and analyse it, but I'm confident that we'll put together a team that can beat Colombia."
Flick: "It's clear that Ilkay #Gündogan will play."
How did you assess Malick #Thiaw on his international debut?
Flick: "He was very solid and played with maturity. He was a highlight."
Florian #Wirtz has come back strongly at Leverkusen after his injury. Why hasn't it worked out for him in the national team yet?
Flick: "He needs a bit of time to adjust. It's a different team. After his long injury, he might have a weaker period."
Flick: "If he can take a breather over summer and then prepare well, he will be at the level we all want him to be."

Contrary to popular belief, Füllkrug hasn't emerged from thin air. His 19 goals and eight assists played a crucial role in Werder's promotion back to the Bundesliga last season. 👇
He also kept hometown club Hannover afloat with a career-best single-campaign haul of 14 Bundesliga goals in 2017/18, having previously gained some invaluable experience in Germany's second tier with Nuremberg and Greuther Fürth (a combined 24 goals in 85 games).
🚨 Official: FC Bayern has terminated the contract with U19 boss Danny #Galm. The 37-year-old moves to SV Sandhausen.
Jochen #Sauer: “In the past few years, we have repeatedly handed over campus coaches to professional football. This shows that we are not only a successful talent factory for young players.”
Sauer: “Now Danny had the opportunity to take on his first position in professional football in Sandhausen. We wish him all the best and every success and thank him for his tireless work on campus over the past two years.”
🚨 FC Bayern have signed the young Australian goalkeeper Anthony Pavlešić. The 17-year-old junior national keeper with Croatian roots, who is currently playing at the U17 Asian Championship, comes to the NLZ of the German record champions from the Central Coast Mariners Academy.
There he is scheduled for the upcoming season for the junior squad.
Goalkeeping coordinator Tom Starke: “Anthony completed a two-week trial with us in February and left a lasting impression. We then continued to follow him very closely and decided that the overall package was the right one."
Rudi #Völler on performances and results being brought into discussion: "That's normal and natural because our own European Championship is just around the corner. We have to face up to the criticism. It's logical after the exit from the group stage in the World cup."
Völler on the Colombia game: "We of course want to win it and try a few things out, but at the same time we want to entertain people. It's not a friendly or a qualifier, but rather a game to show the fans that they count on us."
Völler: "We're at the end of a long season, we're tired and we've got heavy legs. We have to find the one or two percent that we lacked in certain areas against Poland."
