Nanashi no Game (literally "The Nameless Game") is a horror game for the Nintendo DS. It tells the story of a haunted video game (the one that looks like a typical 8-bit RPG) that kills the people who have played it in 7 days.
The game is divided into 2 segments: first-person 3D sections that are supposed to be the real world (you have to hold the DS on its side) and 2D sections that simulate the DS menu and allow you to check e-mail and play the haunted game.
Often regarded as one of the Nintendo DS's most terrifying games, it gained a cult following and was given a sequel, "Nanashi no Game: Me" (lit. "The Nameless Game: Eye").
They were never released outside Japan, but there are unofficial versions translated into English by fans.
The story is obviously very inspired by the novel and the movie Ring. Even the general structure of the story has many similarities.
A few more screenshots I've taken:
PS: An escape game called "Nanashi no Shitai" ("The Nameless Corpse") was also organized to promote the game. It ran for 3 months in 2008, at the Fuji-Q Highland theme park. It recreates the abandoned hospital we visit in the game.
PPS: A fact I find amusing is that the "ghosts" in the game are called "Rugure", which is a Japanese interpretation of the word Regret pronounced in French.
The story has absolutely nothing to do with France, and a character in the game randomly suggests naming them that way.

Beltion: Beyond Ritual (or "Svod Ravnovesiya: Beltion") is a Ukrainian RPG based on the novel series "The Vault of Equilibrium" by Alexander Zorich (a pseudonym used by two Russo-Ukrainian writers). It takes place in the fantasy world of Sarmanthazar, where magic is forbidden.
We play the role of Orwin, a young inquisitor charged with proscribing sorcerers.
Although, the game was not always based on those novels. The project started in 2002 with a completely different story about a disaster caused by 2 mages, inspired by the events of Chernobyl.
"SOB" was a space pirate game that was in development by Valve. A bunch of concept arts were leaked online.
Fans thought the full name was Stars of Barathrum, but in 2012 Gabe Newell confirmed the name "Stars of Blood". He also confirmed the project never saw the light of day.
