Sitting in airport so will do little update
First of all you all need to CALM DOWN
The amount of tweets I see saying "oh we've fucked it"
Or "deals off, fuck edu" is insane
All because we haven't met a deadline made up by someone who has no idea or a schedule you have imagined

There's been some confusion on the 2nd bid so I'll try clear on my side

I was told by people at both Arsenal and West ham that the 2nd bid was made(Some media reported this too)A hour-ish later West ham said was no bid but was expected the next day. This was leaked to the press

Then nothing. No noise of a bid since which I think was about 4 days ago now.
Do you really think Arsenal would ring yesterday ham and say bids in tomorrow lads...how would West ham know that, its all games being played out in the press

Arsenal are getting annoyed at the way west ham are dealing with it....to be honest people ar west ham are getting annoyed with the way senior figures at west ham are dealing with it.

The fact is very little has changed.

Arsenal have absolutely no worries about another club coming in, ignore all the press leaks. That's west ham trying to drum up interest. I've said for a while now I'm 90% confident and all the noise in the last week hasn't changed that.

Regarding the delay over the last few days. I got a bit of stick for saying wait til after England game. Absolutely nothing was going to happen while he was away with England so Arsenal haven't tried to rush west ham along there no need.

I don't know if anything will happen after the England game I hate putting time frames on anything because it causes panic.

But knowing the industry there a alot more chance of something happening then than while players are with their nations.

So to summarise a long boring thread.

I personally think west ham are still holding the second bid

And the reality is the only changes in the last 4 days have been positive ones for us

But twitter fear mongers on twitter will have you believe its doom and gloom
