🚨 Official: FC Bayern has terminated the contract with U19 boss Danny #Galm. The 37-year-old moves to SV Sandhausen.
Jochen #Sauer: “In the past few years, we have repeatedly handed over campus coaches to professional football. This shows that we are not only a successful talent factory for young players.”
Sauer: “Now Danny had the opportunity to take on his first position in professional football in Sandhausen. We wish him all the best and every success and thank him for his tireless work on campus over the past two years.”
Danny Galm: "I had an exciting, intensive and instructive time at Bayern Munich. I was able to work and develop with great people, players and coaches both on campus and on Säbener Straße.”
Galm: "I experienced and internalized what it means to be part of the Bayern family. It was an important two years in which I met special personalities and extraordinary characters.”
Galm: “I would like to thank everyone for their trust, openness and passion they have shown me. Special thanks go to my players and my coaching staff for always being open and honest in their communication.”
Galm: "Now I'm looking forward to the task in Sandhausen, which I'm prepared for."

Contrary to popular belief, Füllkrug hasn't emerged from thin air. His 19 goals and eight assists played a crucial role in Werder's promotion back to the Bundesliga last season. 👇
He also kept hometown club Hannover afloat with a career-best single-campaign haul of 14 Bundesliga goals in 2017/18, having previously gained some invaluable experience in Germany's second tier with Nuremberg and Greuther Fürth (a combined 24 goals in 85 games).
🚨 FC Bayern have signed the young Australian goalkeeper Anthony Pavlešić. The 17-year-old junior national keeper with Croatian roots, who is currently playing at the U17 Asian Championship, comes to the NLZ of the German record champions from the Central Coast Mariners Academy.
There he is scheduled for the upcoming season for the junior squad.
Goalkeeping coordinator Tom Starke: “Anthony completed a two-week trial with us in February and left a lasting impression. We then continued to follow him very closely and decided that the overall package was the right one."
Rudi #Völler on performances and results being brought into discussion: "That's normal and natural because our own European Championship is just around the corner. We have to face up to the criticism. It's logical after the exit from the group stage in the World cup."
Völler on the Colombia game: "We of course want to win it and try a few things out, but at the same time we want to entertain people. It's not a friendly or a qualifier, but rather a game to show the fans that they count on us."
Völler: "We're at the end of a long season, we're tired and we've got heavy legs. We have to find the one or two percent that we lacked in certain areas against Poland."
Robin #Gosens on the defeat in Poland: "We were extremely disappointed to not be rewarded for what was a good game. We analysed the game and have picked out some of the key moments. In the second half, it felt like we pressured them a lot and created many chances for ourselves."
Gosens: "Luck just isn't on our side at the minute, and so we're heading home empty-handed. We know that we will only be able to get the country on our side if we win games, which is our what we want to do, as a big footballing country"
Gosens on the importance of the game against Colombia: "I can see how we communicate with one another each day and how we try to improve. We are working incredible hard in order to get back on track. We all hate to lose, but we can see the development in the team."
