The left took over because it built a money pipeline between its (real) elite, middle, and low. The cost was massive: it had to sacrifice economic leftism and replace it with rainbow globalism (extreme financial inequality).

Some call this pipeline “patronage”

1/10
The right struggles with connecting its genuine elites to its other classes.

On the one hand, we have fake elites, the Conservatives who happily lose every battle; they’re controlled opposition. You can’t plug into them because they’re not really there. 2/10
On the other you have WWC/The Religious Right/Trump, with Trump being the first leader since Reagan to connect the dots.

The problem is this alliance is both poorly funded and ineffective at building patronage networks—especially those that use nonprofits to attack the left. 3/
Where, for example, is the Right’s version of teachers unions, media matters, open society, BLM? We have none of these corrupt patronage operations where political battle is monetized via massive donations.

DeSantis’ battles against Disney, New College of Florida are closest 4/
Of course universities and legacy media are also part of the pipeline, funded by well organized networks of bourgeoisie (think doctors) and elite donors, who get returns on investments through various tax schemes, cheap labor, etc 5/10
I have been shocked at how drastically less organized and less funded the right is than the left. I had always thought that the sides were “roughly equal.” This is totally untrue. It’s 10000 x 1. The left owns culture because it funds culture. It pays to dominate the right 6/10
But here’s the whitepill. By going unchallenged for so long, the left has gotten drunk on power. Its nonprofits manufacture absurd battles. The transpill, for example, isnt going down so easily. It excited them, to see if they can force it, but they won’t be able to. 7/10
While the right might be totally unequal in money and organization, we are equal in people and talent. In fact, w recent left wing craziness, the demographic scales are tilting ever further into our favor. Not only are we swelling with people, it’s the good ones. 8/10
The upward inertia of building a patronage pipeline between all these people will create a blast force strong enough to dismantle the modern left.

To build it, we must stop being scared of being called names, losing jobs, and being attacked/labeled by their culture machines. 9/
We also, like they did, must make a massive sacrifice, a divine compromise. I personally think it’ll be giving up rationality—the distinctly American puritan propriety that has defined the country for so long—to become baser, more savage, but more vital. 10/10

Subway vigilante Daniel Penny might not be charged. 🧵
Much has changed since I worked Manhattan DA under Robert Morgenthau, who charged known racist Bernie Goetz with attempted murder after shooting four black teenagers who harassed and threatened him on the subway in 1984. They all survived. Image
NYC subways were then dangerous sh*tholes. Malcolm Gladwell wrote about the Goetz incident as the Tipping Point when the city began its motion towards improvement, order, and public beautification later embodied by Giuliani and Broken Windows Theory to NYC's 90s heyday. Image

1. In the West’s grand gender experiment, we see women react to the reduction of marriage pressure in one of two ways:
2. 1) embracing natural hypergamy, pursuing very high status men often indirectly via professionalism. This leads to higher satisfaction as they mate with the men they want to. But can be deeply unfulfilling—enough high status men to have sex with, not enough to reproduce with.
3. The results of this path are either a) finding a desired man, but often too late to have children. Or b) settling, also often too late to have children. The latter is the worst possible outcome and leads usually to fast divorce, as she receives nothing she wants or needs

1. Much talk in our sphere today on role of sex and marriage in a man's life...if it destroys or enhances scholarship and/or credibility as a thinker. I come to this discussion w much experience on all sides of womanizer——sperg——family man spectrum, so I’d like to weigh in.
2. Every cult leader insists sex gives him great power. Even more interesting, he's correct. Frequent sex does provide an elemental power you carry with you in your everyday affairs. This only becomes clear when you reach a point where women (or men) throw themselves at you.
3. This reality is foreign to 90% of men. They do not understand why powerful men become utterly fixated on f-cking (see e.g. el Chapo who at height of his power spent 95% of his time visiting his girlfriends, only 5% on business).

1. Yoel Roth. We encounter this archetype often in the higher echelons of power. The Pernicious Manager. The The Theater Kid Occupier. The Manageouisie... I've encountered him over and over again. What drives him? What is the source of his power? Image
2. Let us examine Roth next to his twin, Kyle Robertson, a fellow member of the Manageoisie. Robertson is the founder of virtual mental health startup Cerebral. Cerebral essentially paid off doctors to write Adderall scripts to anybody who asked. It's now under investigation. Image
3. CREDENTIALISM: Both Roth and Robertson went to Penn, one undergrad, one Wharton. One was valedictorian of his high school. One worked at Harvard. One Accenture. Columbia. Etc. The Manageouisie is both driven and powered by PRESTIGIOUS CREDENTIALS.
