1) What’s The Strategy?
This trading setup is derived from ict trading concepts called:
“The Box Setup”
It’s uses some of the easier ict concepts for newer traders to grasp and is a very consistent strategy.

2) The Box Setup
The setup contains 3 components: accumulation, manipulation & distribution.
In accumulation the stock is in a range once we break this range we fake retail out in the manipulation phase & then finally we want to enter the stock in the distribution phase.

3) Why Does It Work?
This setup works because when retail is buying the breakout of the range we have sell side liquidity in the manipulation where buyers enter into the stock to continue in the opposite direction.
Therefore we want to enter the stock once that trend confirms.

4) 3 Entry Criteria
1 - Find area of consolidation on chart.
2 - Let price break to one side & reverse.
3 - Enter on Retest of consolidation.

5) Bullish Box Setup
Here we see a stock consolidating in a range and then breaking to the downside.

6) What To Look For?
We are looking for the stock to come back into the box AFTER it has faked out retail to the downside.
Once this is done we will enter on the retest of the consolidation.

7) Enter
We enter the stock on this retest with out profit target at $4,300 which is a whole psychological number.
Our stop loss is a pivot level below the consolidation.
This trade gives us a 2.31R trade.
To make $1,000 we would have to risk $433.

8) Play Out Trade
As we can see here this trade worked out perfectly and trended up nicely into our profit target from that retest entry.
