THREAD: War crime supporters like Andrew Perpetua need to be called out for their nonsense. In this thread I’m going to debunk the dangerous bs he’s promoting. He wants Ukraine to use cluster bombs.
Cluster bombs are bombs that carry multiple smaller bombs (called bomblets)… https://t.co/soItL0U1Eltwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
After watching that Ukrainian army video where they got hit by land mines, Andrew got an emotional breakdown and entered the second stage of grief. 2/8
In fact he actually wants to kill the people who banned cluster bombs and thinks that covering the battlefield with cluster bombs will win the war.
This is beyond delusion and shows his deranged mentality:
- Ukraine have proven to be terrible at clearing minefields, we… https://t.co/mkIR8J3l41twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Russia wouldn’t even need to fire many cluster bombs to cover the entire frontline. In 1991, the US dropped 61,000 cluster bombs on Iraq, this released more than 20 million bomblets.
It would take Russia less than 3 days to cover Ukraine with more than 20 million bomblets.4/8
Mines and cluster bombs don’t always explode and they can be a threat to civilians long after the war has ended. Andrew knows this full well, but he doesn’t care. All he cares about is killing. When the war is over, he won’t care about Ukraine anymore.
Andrew then says “These people who claim these weapons are "bad" are your classic neoliberal moron who doesn't understand how the world works”.
It’s not “neoliberal morons” who say, it’s researchers and scientists who proved cluster bombs are bad after over 70 years of research… https://t.co/lHDqAvJ9zltwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
It’s very easy for suburban armchair observers like him to demand cluster bombs on places that he’ll never visit or be in, since he grew up in a country that experienced 0 war and has been cuddled up to see war like an action movie or game. 7/8
Andrew then proves how clueless he is when he says cluster bombs can clear minefields. Modern mines are designed to withstand quite large explosions. They do this by having a timed-pressure detonation where the mine will inly detonate if the pressure is applied for a longer… https://t.co/jWNRRChObYtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…

force a refresh
1. - He’s not fully secured the north that’s being controlled by SNA, Turks and SDF
- He’s facing an invasion by Israel from the south
- Small ISIS insurgency in the eastern Badiya desert
That’s why he’s open to potentially cooperating with Iran and Russia, sounds ironic but true. He can also continue cooperating with Turkey. He needs weapons to keep Syria intact
2. Israel is destroying every remnant of the Syrian air force. Joulani can’t build an air force now. Best he can do is get drones and missiles, these don’t require any heavy infrastructure to store and maintain
Let’s take the US’s mighty THOR anti-drone microwave energy weapon.
How it’s supposed to work is that it fires small bursts of microwave energy at drones to fry their electronics like flight controller, ESCs, IMUs, camera etc.
Each THOR system costs $18m comes with the actual microwave unit and requires a power source such as a large diesel generator/gas turbine to power it. The range is estimated to be 1km.
2/7 The reason for this short range is because microwaves lose their energy rapidly with distance.
Like all EM waves, it follows the inverse square law, the power of any microwave/laser/light gets weaker by the square of the distance.
Basically at 2 metres range, the power gets 4x weaker. At 3 metres, the power is 9x weaker. At 100m, it’s 10,000x weaker and so on. That’s why these microwave and laser weapons have to use focused beams and huge amount of electricity.
3/7 So how do you defeat these microwaves? Well the answer is right in your kitchen. All microwave ovens use a metal mesh to prevent the microwaves from leaking out.
All you would need is to cover your drone’s electronics in a metal mesh to act as a faraday cage.
The highest frequency microwaves operate at 300 GHz, these have a wavelength of ~1mm. So any mesh with holes less than 1mm, would block the microwaves. You can buy these meshes off Alibaba for less than $4 and make any drone immune to microwave radiation.
Mossad implanted explosives into the pagers during the production process. This was done with cooperation with the manufacturers.
Western tech companies cannot be trusted. That’s why Hamas use Chinese hardware and software.
British MI6 agents admit that it was near-impossible to track Hamas as Huawei and other Chinese tech companies don’t allow backdoor access into their firmwares.
Huawei doesn’t just do phones, they do the entire network of consumer software and hardware. The Hamas intelligence organization completely detached itself from western software around 3 years ago.
The pagers that Israel exploded in Lebanon, were made by a Taiwanese company Gold Apollo. They were imported in the latter half of April 2024. This coincides with an Israeli official meeting with Taiwan’s President and they pledged “closer cooperation”
Thread 🧵 WHY DID ISRAEL STRIKE THE HODEIDAH FUEL DEPOTS IN YEMEN?
1/ The reason is simple. The Houthis are not a conventional military with static infrastructure. They don’t have full-fledged army bases full of military equipment
2/ Instead, Houthis disperse all their military equipment to make it harder for attackers to destroy them. Their ballistic and cruise missiles are hidden throughout the desert. They’re all mobile and can be launched anywhere. This makes them near-impossible to track
With everyone talking about the US government panicking over a new Russian “space weapon”, we should look into what it really could be.
The closest vehicle would be the Russian Zeus space-tug. Just like how normal tugboats on earth tow other boats and ships to where they’re meant to be. This “space tug” is meant to tow other spacecraft to where they’re meant to go.
2/4 It’s powered by an electric ion-propulsion drive which works by slowly releasing an ionized gas like xenon. The acceleration rate of ion drives is very slow, it can take a day to reach high speeds, but the benefit is that they can reach extremely high speeds and their fuel lasts much longer (up to several weeks non-stop use) than conventional rocket engines which burn up in minutes compared
The nuclear reactor is there to provide the space-tug with electricity because solar panels can’t provide enough electricity to power the ion drive itself, which needs a lot of energy to release its xenon fuel.
The other benefit of nuclear energy is the spacecraft isn’t dependent on the sun for electricity. The sun’s energy becomes extremely weak the further out you go and it’d be impossible to power the vehicle. It would be like trying to drive an electric car using only solar panels at sunset.
Those “solar” panels you see aren’t solar panels, they’re just radiator panels that remove excess heat from the spacecraft.
3/4 What does this mean for Russian Space Forces and Roscosmos?
For m Roscosmos, they can easily send satellites and other spacecraft to other planets/moons without needing giant rockets. It would only need to send a satellite to low-earth orbit where the space tug can then send it to wherever its destination is.
It’ll be extremely useful for the planned lunar base to be jointly built by Russia, China and many other partnering nations.
