DERMATOLOGISTS HATE HIM FOR THIS ONE CRAZY TRICK!!
nibbler novel system for repairing deep skin damage 🧵
(does not liquify your organs probably)…
two months ago I discover interesting 1960s study @haidut unearthed describing mechanism for cyproheptadine to completely dissolve calcified tissue when injected in rat friends
48/80 and polymyxin are ‘mast cell inhibitors’, proteins that stimulate buildup of calcium phosphates in cutaneous tissue.
pictured is one such structure that formed under rat skin after an injection of polymyxin
the researchers theorized that due to serotonin’s synergistic relationship to free calcium, that a antihistamines, specifically cyproheptadine, could be used to inhibit the formation of calcium deposits in tissue
when injected with mast cell inhibitors, as seen in earlier photo, calcium deposits established themselves in a day.
HOWEVER, when injected with cyproheptadine in conjunction with inhibitors, calcium deposits were not present at autopsy!
the cyproheptadine appears to bind with heparin, a molecule that stimulates coagulation, preventing circulating calcium phosphates to stabilize in the tissue
nibbler, who cares?
this is interesting because wrinkles, scarring of all types, and other lesions are the byproduct of heavily calcified, fibrotic tissue. (final page of study applies to previous twet)
as our metabolisms wane, or ability to clear or prevent calcium deposits from forming fails, precipitating a buildup that reduces skin elasticity or creating larger scars when we are injured.
while research has validated the efficacy of similar antihistamines such as the readily available ketitofen, there’s a paucity of evidence anyone’s used cyproheptadine for this purpose
I propose that a mechanism for saturating skin tissue with cyproheptadine could reverse scarring and wrinkle formation. dermarolling is perfect for this as it’s been proven to support the saturation of compounds into the skin
THE PROTOCOL:
you could probably dermaroll the area of concern every few days and then apply 0.5-2mg cyproheptadine.
I am applying this on my cheeks and address small acne scarring.
good luck, I take no responsibility for you

original @BradCohn scalp health formula has grown:
- 1.5g aspirin
- 3g baking soda
- 1g niacinamide
- 1g taurine
- 1g caffeine
- 2mg methylene blue
soak is ‘final solution’ for scalp care. probably my final word on the subject.
at outset, this was motivated by constant scalp irritation. I was looking for immediate relief, but I have come to recognize that the dermal layer requires persistent metabolic enhancement to help flush calcified tissue.
as such, the formula transitioned from ‘relief’ to ‘active supplementation’ to support healing in the same way you’d take any of these compounds systemically for other issues.
Context: late 20’s, verging on norwood II. I have nothing to sell and have tried many things…
I started to notice vertex recession and light diffuse thinning ~1.5 years ago. I think it was triggered when I eased off heavy, excessive aerobic work (8-15 hours at 75% heart rate max every week)
At present, I have a widow’s peak but otherwise nothing more sustained. I am not going to pontificate on root cause beyond defining it as some combination of inflammation, an imbalanced hormonal profile, and skull shape.
