SitRep - 04/07/23 - A huge explosion in Makeevka

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Fighting at the front continues and occupied Makeevka was rocked by two huge explosions.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 04/07/23 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff

+770 men
+2 tanks
+9 APVs
+32 (!) artillery pieces
+6 MLRS
+3 AD systems
+29 UAVs
Early this morning, Moscow authorities reported that several drones attacked the region. It is unclear how many hit a target, but at least two fires in the suburbs of the capital of Russia appeared.
A 2S1 Gvozdika destroyed by Ukrainian artillery fire.
Yakymivka, a logistical hub between Melitopol and Crimea was targeted today. Several explosions were noted. Preliminary reports state a warehouse was hit
Another 2S1 Gzvodika, BM-21 GRAD and 2S5 were destroyed. Initially reported as HIMARS but more likely 155mm excalibur projectiles
Captured equipment on the Zaporizhzia front.
A Russian MiG-31 crashed in the eastern part of Russia. It is not war related but it has impact on the aviation fleet.
A big fire occured at the Luzha CHP in Veliky Novgorod. Prior to the fire, locals reported a big bang.
Several Russian vehicles hit by a Stugna-P ATGM complex.
A Russian base was covered. Right on spot
Than, the event of the day. A huge explosion in Makeevka close to Donetsk. There are conflicting reports of what was hit. Waiting for more info.
Lets continue with the general events. NATO Admiral Bauer doesn't think Ukraine will soon get western fighter jets as lots of important subjects regarding the training, supply and logistics cannot be overcome in the short term

Than some weird allegations from Russia popped up today. Claiming that Ukraine would attack the Zaporizhzia NPP. Movement of mobile radiation laboratories were spotted near Mariupol and Enerhodar. Probably another way from Russia to scare off the world

This morning, Girkin came out worried about the renewed offensive actions of the Ukrainian army near Velyka Novosilka
Near the Antonivskyi bridge, Humenyuk confirmed that counter battery fights are still ongoing. The Russian side reports that they can barely move due to the heavy cover of Ukrainian artillery
Close combat footage from the 1st mechanized batallion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
More first person footage from the fighting near Klishchiivka. It is now said that the forest strip north of Klishchiivka is cleared and the full assault will begin shortly.

Journalists are gathering at Palace of Independence in Minsk where Lukashenko will give a press conference. Most likely about his role in the mediation between Putin and Prigozhin.
Prigozhin has likely also arrived in Belarus. His business jet flew from Rostov-on-Don to Belarus and landed at the Machulishchy airbase near Minsk at 07:40.
"Lukashenko : "I gave all orders to bring the army to full combat readiness. We must be stronger than the threats looming over our land. And the threats again come from the West," he added.

SitRep - 25/06/23 - A left bank bridgehead
