A masjid committee in Kerala comprising of Malayali Thangals (Syeds) & Mappila (Shudra Muslim) in Kerala prohibits a Malayali Dalit OSSAN (Muslim barber caste) from attending a committee meeting.

Upper Caste Malayali Muslim & Shudra Caste Malayali Muslim dominated Masjid Committee prohibit Dalit Malayali Muslim from attending meeting.They write letter to him saying:

"Your forefathers were prohibited from attending this meeting and so are you."

OSSAN, a term derived from Arabic "khattan" or circumcision, is a term ascribed to community of Malayali Muslim barbers, who are placed lowest in Muslim caste hierarchy of Kerala. OSSANS would also perform circumcision and their wives would do midwifery for Syeds & Shudra Muslims

OSSAN are not the only Pasmanda Caste Malayali Muslim community in Kerala treated like shit.

There are also PUSALAN, a Malayali Muslim community of fishermen that converted from Mukkuvar community, a community of fishermen found in coastal Kerala & Tamil Nadu.

Both OSSANS & PUSALANS are heavily discriminated by Upper Caste Muslims & Shudra Muslims of Kerala.

Even economic prosperity has not earned OSSANS any respect. Most OSSANS now own beauty parlors & do well and yet they are treated as Muslim untouchable.

Amongst 90 Lakh Kerala Muslim community (26% of Kerala's population), there is caste dominance of 2 communities:

1. Thangal SYED Muslims that claims 100% ARAB ancestry

2. "Elite" section of MAPPILA Shudra Muslims that claims partial ARAB ancestry.

Who are THANGALS ?

Thangals are Kerela's SYEDS, who are placed on top of Kerala's Muslim Caste system. They claim to be descendants of Prophet Muhammad. A Panakkad based SYED THANGAL Muslim family even controls Kerela's powetful Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) party.

How castest are Thangals ?

Do they really belong to family of Prophet Muhammad ?

Most so called "SYEDS" of Kerala are not from present day Saudi Arabia but from YEMEN, the besieged country, which has been nearly destroyed by Saudi Arabia in a forgotten war.

How few YAMENI ARABS managed to fool an entire Malayali Muslim population in believing that they belong to Prophet Muhammad's family is a mystery. It could also be because many earlier Thangals operated as "saints", performing miracles & magic for "curing" people.

Kerela has many other Muslim communities other than Thangals and ,"superiority of caste" is determined by who has how much of ARAB BLOOD or at least Persian/Iranian blood or even Pathan blood.

MAPPILA MUSLIMS OF KERALA

It is a generic term used for diverse Malayali Muslim communities that:

1. Converted from Upper Caste Malayali Hindus like Nairs or Upper Shudra Hindus like Ezhavas

2. Converted from Lower Shudra Hindus

3. Combination of above mixed with ARABS.

RACIST FANATICISM of having "superior" ARAB BLOOD demarcates various Muslim communities even under tag of Mappilas.

North Kerala Mappilas (mostly converts from Upper Caste Malayali Hindus) consider themselves "superior" to South Kerala Mappilas.

Why?

They have more ARAB BLOOD.

Mappila Muslims, who are converts from Malayali Shudra Hindu castes and do not have any ARAB blood to boost of, like those who converted from Ezhava Shudra caste, remain discriminated by BOTH Thangals & "Elite" Mappilas, who exhibit racial arrogance of "superior" ARAB genes.

How much castest are "Elite" Mappilas ?

Just two months back, a recently arrived "guest worker" from Bihar's Maha Dalit Musahar Scheduled Caste community was brutally beaten to death by 8 members of Kerala's Mappila Muslim community on suspicion of theaft.

These are names of accused Malayali Mappila Muslim men, who are accused of brutally beating poor Maha Dalit migrant worker from Bihar in Kerala:

2. Fazil,
3. Sharafuddin,
4. Mehboob,
5. Abdusamad,
6. Nasser, Habib,
7. Ayyub and
8. Zainul Abid

"Remorseless & Smiling"

When presented in court, accused Mappila Muslim men could be seen in police custody smiling for camera & totally remorseless. Mappila Muslims are politically very powerful community courted by both LDF & UDF. It is very difficult to touch them in Kerala.

Lastly,

Kerela's much celebrated Muslim community is oldest Muslim community of South Asia. It has however escaped CASTE SCRUTINY so far.

It is high time that Upper Caste & "Elite" Mappila Muslims are held accountable for their centuries old caste crimes against Dalit Muslims.
