NEWS: Overnight, Georgia election worked Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss moved for “severe” sanctions in against Rudy Giuliani, who they say failed to preserve or produce key evidence in their defamation lawsuit against him.
It includes this Dec. 7, 2020 text exchange in which Boris EPSHTEYN puts out an “urgent POTUS request” for examples of election fraud that aren’t necessarily proven but are “easy to understand.”
And maybe most interesting part of the log: Several versions of a document titled "POTUS findings," dated Dec. 16-17. That's the dates Trump considered issuing "findings" justifying the seizure of voting machines.
JUST IN: Judge Howell threatens Rudy Giuliani with contempt of court and other “severe” sanctions for failing to provide adequate discovery to Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss in their defamation suit— despite repeated court orders.
She’s also ordering Rudy to pay about $90,000 in their attorney’s fees for recent motion.
But wait … there’s more: In a separate 20-page opinion, Howell is also ordering a more fulsome privilege log from Bernie KERIK, who she chided for delaying his responses to Moss/Freeman and participating in a “misinformation” campaign after the 2020 election.

MORE: The onus is now on Judge CANNON, who must choose between DOJ's extraordinarily short trial schedule, Trump's extraordinarily long one, or chart a middle course (which is hard to do with a presidential election calendar in between).
NEWS: A disciplinary committee of the DC Bar association has recommended that Rudy Giuliani be *disbarred* for "frivolous" and "destructive" efforts to overturn the 2020 election in support of Trump.
"The misconduct here sadly transcends all his past accomplishments. It was unparalleled in its destructive purpose and effect. He sought to disrupt a presidential election and persists in his refusal to acknowledge the wrong he has done." politico.com/news/2023/07/0…
The panel has been deliberating for months after a series of hearings that featured testimony from Rudy himself, plus several close associates. politico.com/news/2023/07/0…
