One secret behind magnetic brands like Apple, Lego, and Nike:

Archetypes

Here are the 12 Brand Archetypes to help you build an irresistible brand: Image
An archetype is a universal, inborn personality that influences our behaviour.

Ex:

Everyone wants to win. An archetype called “Ruler“ triggers that.

The most engaged brands use archetypes to connect with their audience on a deeper level.

Here are 12 you can pick from:
Hero

These are the obsessed bunch who pride going farther than anyone else. A day without a challenge is a bad day. Because what is life without constant improvement?

Become a hero by validating your audience’s high ambitions and inspiring them to do more.
Image
Image
Everyman

The everyman believes in equality and always shows the masses that he’s just like them. While their message resonates, they’re often forgotten quickly because they rarely stand out.

Become an everyman by being humble and friendly.
Image
Image
Ruler

There must be kings, and there must be peasants.

The ruler doesn’t just stand out; he stands above everyone else. He wants to be the best, and he’s not ashamed to show it off.

Become a ruler by achieving high status and inviting your followers to the top.
Image
Image
Outlaw

Being “normal“ is an outlaw's worst nightmare. They hate the status quo and love nothing more than disrupting it. What is progress without change?

Become an outlaw by sharing your contrary opinions with strong, persuasive language.
Image
Image
Creator

These are the “crazy” ones. Creators have grandiose imaginations, and the only way to satisfy their hunger is to bring them to life.

Become a creator by promoting self-expression among your followers.
Image
Image
Sage

These are the unsung heroes who speak only one language: facts.

Sages shy away from the spotlights. They gift the fruits of their research to those who’ll change the world, instead of doing it themselves.

Become a sage by well… reading a lot and sharing your findings.
Image
Image
Magician

These are the storytellers. They crave knowledge like the sages, but they use it to take their listeners on an adventure.

“If you can imagine it, you can achieve it”

Become a magician by inviting your audience on a journey of transformation.
Image
Image
Jester

Jesters stay young forever. Their job is simple: turn every frown into a smile, and every situation into a good time.

Become a jester by using bright colours and sharing positivity.
Image
Image
Caregiver

These are altruists motivated to help others, especially the needy — at their expense sometimes. Why? Because it’s their duty.

Become a caregiver by making your followers feel secure.
Image
Image
Innocent

This group sees the beauty in themselves and in the world. They want simple lives filled with peace and harmony. Loud areas, flashy lifestyles, and disagreements are the fastest way to turn them off.

Become innocent (lol) by promoting serenity and positivity.
Image
Image
Lover

Lovers are afraid of being unnoticed or unloved. They combat their fears by increasing their attractiveness and charm.

Become a lover by appealing to your listeners through the senses. Bonus points if you use alluring language.
Image
Image
Explorers

The trill-seekers. Their comfort zones see very little of them because they’re ruthlessly finding new ways to challenge themselves.

Ex: Jump off a moving jet.

Become an Explorer by validating your audience’s dare-devil nature and leading the pack.

How to build a daily writing habit: Image
Start simple

If your standards are so high it prevents you from moving forward, you don’t have high standards. You’re an intense procrastinator.

Don’t aim for 10k words.

Aim to sit behind the laptop daily for 20 mins.

Build the show-up muscle first, then build on top of it.
Write for yourself

Write about what you want to write about until you like to write.

Some things you can write about:

- your feelings
- your plans for something
- the thing keeping you up at night

The contents of the writing don’t matter. The writing does.

I read 37 non-fictional books in 2023.

They’re on entrepreneurship, productivity, creativity, and spirituality.

Here are my top 10, guaranteed to make 2024 your most enjoyable year.

(in my recommended reading order):
Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

I finished this 9 days ago, but I wish I did 9 years ago.

I made 433 highlights reading this, most on:

- The diff between enjoyment and pleasure
- Why doing work you enjoy leads to the most success
- How to make your life enjoyable

Start here. Image
The Evolving Self by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

This is the sequel to Flow, and another fantastic read.

Here I learned why we act the way we do and how our actions impact future generations.

Self-improvement is impossible without understanding the self. This book fixes that. Image

Look at this book.

It’s not even out yet, but 500,000+ people have already said “Give it to me!“.

That’s 11,628 daily sign-ups in 43 days.

Here’s an 8-step breakdown of Alex Hormozi’s wild $100m leads launch: Image
If you don’t know Alex Hormozi, here’s a recap:

- He’s 34
- Iranian-American
- Built 4 companies to 8 figures
- Has the best calves in the world
- Author of $100m offers (400k+ sales and 13k+ 5-stars on Amazon)

His resume is great as is, but he’s about to shoot for the stars. Image
I spent 2 hours studying his $100m Leads launch strategy and broke my findings into these 7 steps:

(0) Build an audience
(1) Create Anticipation
(2) Launch
(3) Simplify Onboarding
(4) Mass Distribution
(5) Show credibility
(6) Teasers
(7) Periodic reminders

What do the most successful entrepreneurs have in common aside $$$ and fame?

Good writing.

Most people don’t know how this skill can change their life sadly. So, let’s fix that.

7 reasons you should write every day: Image
I’ve been writing for ~18 months.

Because of it, I:

- Feel better
- Think better
- Attracted 81,000 Twitter followers
- and made a living from merely living

Below are 7 reasons you should join me on this journey:

(h/t: @ItsKieranDrew for the image above)
@ItsKieranDrew Side note:

I'm launching something soon to give you clarity on writing better, attracting an audience with it and making money doing what you love.

Stay tuned.

Let's dive into the goods for today:

In 2022, I generated 9800+ organic leads in 93 days using Twitter alone.

- 0 lead magnets
- 0 paid ad budget
- 0 influencer shoutouts

Here’s a 6-step breakdown of what I did:

(For startups and early-stage businesses)
At the start of my business journey, generating leads was tough.

I tried many methods.

- inbound
- outbound
- paid adverts
- and even spamming

These methods are fantastic, but they ended up being duds.

It was almost game over until I made a discovery.
I realised that people who had abundant traffic had:

- a massive ad budget
- a big following
- or both

In summary, they had a constant supply of attention.

Problem: I had none. I also didn’t know how to get it.

But after 4 tedious months of trial, it paid off.

How to create your profitable niche in 7 minutes.

The 4-3-2-1-0 method:
You have 1 bullet.

There are 3 birds sitting on a wire.

Goal: Kill something.

What do you do?

I assume you’ll aim for one (either left or right), because aiming at everyone (or every bird) will assure you hit none.

That’s why you need a niche for your business. Image
Having a niche helps you:

- Refine your offer
- build a loyal customer base
- become an authority in your field

All necessary moving parts you need to build a business.

Most people don't know what their niche is because they try to find it.

Silly move.
