I sucked at writing in school.

My first tweet still makes me cringe.

At 31, I've written 14.4k+ piece of content, some BLEW Up, others failed miserable.

Save yourself some pain.

Here's a 3 minute breakdown of my process...
Few see the benefits of becoming a great writer & manifest many excuses:

"It's too hard"
"It's over saturated"
"I haven't got the time"

Time to reframe, by saying:

"It's fun to be creative"
"I can find new niches"
"I don't have to write it all today"

Let's start small...
My 3 Rules:

• Write to inform yourself.
• Review the analytics weekly.
• Double down on what works.

This thread will help you improve your creative writing to gain super fan attention.

Joseph Sugarman is a godfather of copywriters.

Selling 1,000,000+ copies of "The Adweek Copywriting Handbook"

He pioneers 5 persuasive writing rules.

Use these to increase your sales:
Rule #1

The purpose of the first sentence in an ad is to get you to read the second sentence.
In a world of coaches selling to coaches, the message must change from mainstream to 'nice-stream'.

Ex marketing.

“I can help you make money with your coaching business, read below to learn how.”

Blah, blah.

Instead.

Get them to raise their hand with curiosity.

If you want to escape the comfort zone trap FOREVER and make some noise.

Read this carefully:
In the warmth of our comfort zone life feels safe & familiar right?!

But ultimately, it's the more opportunities are missed to fully immerse ourselves in the human experience.

Don't say goodbye to personal growth!

Tips to identify & escape today:
FEAR & UNCERTAINTY

In your comfort zone, everything is predictable, which makes you feel safe. For example, you know exactly what to expect when you take the same route to work every day.

I had an interesting call with an hunrgy founder last week, he was struggling to book meetings from his audience.

With some probing I found the problem.

Poor self marketing.

Missing from the 3 skillsets for success

If you ignore these triggers, you'll fail FAST:
If you scrolled down to this tweet

Congrats, you identified this in your service-based business.

You're already taking ownership

Like “I need to correct this now”.

Sales is about solution.

Marketing is about empathy.

Copywriting is about persuasion.

Let's unpack this...
I asked one question.

“What is your ICP?”

He said, everyone but the postman and his dog...

Basically he couldn't tell me in a few words,
which is a Tell-Tell sign that he doesn't know.

If you don't your Avatar, you'll sell nothing to nobody.

Biggest lesson from the pandemic?

The 40-hour workweek is actually 10-15 hours of focused work without the distractions and office BS
The amount of filler in a typical office day is mind-boggling.

With remote work, we can use the rest of time for side projects and productive work. That has always been my productivity hack.
I do my job, and spend the rest of the time on my business:

- Reviewing sales project
- Market researching
- Improving systems

My colleagues spend this time shopping online, gossiping and complaining that the world isn't fair.

Low vibes.

Doubt yourself and the world will doubt you.

One thing my many mentors had told me “Whatever your mind can conceives it believes”.

Here's how to rebuild your self belief... Image
Trust is a Real aspect of relationships

Question is how much we trust ourselves?

Self-trust is important because it leads to a better relationship with ourselves.

“Self-Trust Is The First Secret of Success.”
