In 1977, The world's Highest-paid Copywriter started a workshop.

Each participant paid $4000.

For 23 years, he taught the same 10 Psychological triggers to boost Sales.

Here's a breakdown: Image
1. Guilt

Ever received an expensive gift from a friend on your birthday?

You get the urge to give something in return, it's the guilt. So if you Include a gift in your copy, many will feel guilty for not buying.

And you might end up with a sale.
2. Credibility

You're offering something for $10 that everyone is selling for $30.

Explain why your product is cheap but sound reasonable.

Raise all the objections & solve them.

Trust = Sale.
3. Trial period v. Satisfaction Conviction

Most people give a trial period but Joe used to give a Satisfaction conviction.

An offer that client thinks is going to rip you off.

One time Joe gave money to people for trying out the product if they end up returning it.
4. Specificity

Use facts & numbers in your copy to establish trust and sound like an expert.

• Don't Say – Our product increased revenue
• Say – Over 73% of customers reported an increase in their revenue by $500

Specificity sells every time.
5. Consistency

Make the first sale simple.

Once the prospect commits to purchase - you can easily upsell it.

• First sale - Mobile phone
• Second sale - Earphones, wireless charger
• Third Sale - An exclusive membership for pre-sale

Create a simple funnel.
6. Desire to belong

People buy any product because they subconsciously want to belong to the group that already owns or uses that product.

They buy Rolex because the richest people on earth own it.

Double down on that identity and enforce them.
7. Sense of urgency

Let's say the prospect believes you & is ready to buy but there's no urgency.

They're thinking " Well maybe I can buy it later. "

99% of time they wont.

You need to run:

• Holiday discount
• A limited-time offer

or anything to create FOMO.
8. Fear

It's a great motivator to cause prospects to take action.

Coronavirus caused people to buy immunity-boosting shots.

Increased gun violence caused people to buy Guns.

If your product can save people from a threat then present it in that way.
9. Exclusivity, Rarity, and Uniqueness

Most people would like to belong to an exclusive group.

Satan shoes by Lil Nas were sold out in under 1 minute as only 666 were produced.

Each pair cost $1018.

People want to brag, help them.
10. Mental engagement

The more effort you put in, the more fun it is.

If you make your copy too obvious the reader feels looked down upon and bored.

You need to:

• Add catchy Jingal
• Spice it up with stories

Don't play it safe.

I fucked up all my digital products.

With a 46k audience, I made $436 in total.

7 mistakes to avoid if you're building a product:
1. Low-effort products

I launched 4 failed products as of now.

Most of them could have been generic threads. But I looked at products as follower-farming. So I never put real effort into building.

My audience caught me cheating, and they bought nothing. Image
2. Taking audience for granted

My ghostwriting business drives 80% of my total revenue.

In my head, I'm an expert who doesn't need to prove himself. God, I was so wrong. I thought they would be dying to buy from me.

I took them for granted; they did the same with my products.

1 year ago, I started Ghostwriting.

This month I crossed $50k in profits.

But it burned 100s of hours to learn everything.

6-step framework to write for anyone on the planet:
This is the exact framework that made me a 5 figure writer.

You can also use it to build a personal brand too.

Let’s dive in.
1. The Questionaire

Every person on the internet has an inspiration.

So ask your client the 5 creators they want to build a personal brand like.

Now ask them 3 topics they’re obsessed with ( apart from their niche)

It can be Habits, Systems, or even hobbies.

Amazon, the world's largest retailer, is worth $1.3 trillion.

Bezos trains his writers using a 6-page memo.

So I spent hours studying and dissecting them.

5 writing principles worth your time:
1. Avoid jargon and acronyms

Know your audience before using Acronyms.

• Don't try to sound clever, be clear.

• Explain technical terms the 1st time they appear.

• Say what you mean, in plain language, and let the reader decide whether it was "groundbreaking".
2. Use fewer than 30 words per sentence

• Focus on one idea per sentence.

• Strip out qualifiers like "I think," "I feel," and "should we consider."

• Eliminate anything that reads like "style." Don't use your writing to extend your personal brand.

Writing on Twitter for beginners is hard.

They have doubts like:

• To whom should I target?
• How should I write first drafts?
• What topics should I write about?

And much more...

Here’s a blueprint you need on day 1:
1. Consume solutions

People don’t want to listen to your opinion.

They need value from you

Help them by:
• Putting a spotlight on their unknown problems
• Giving them resources to learn the solution
• Easy- actionable guide

Actively look out for a solution to your problem.
2. Spot problems

In the beginning, whatever you’re afraid of doing is your problem.

When I started creating my first video course, I procrastinated for 2 months.

Later I found out I was scared of speaking in front of a camera.

Reflect on what you're afraid of.

8 hours of work day doesn't guarantee high-quality work.

Top performers in various fields are consistently working less.

The difference: Ability to reach peak concentration.

8 tips to improve work quality while working less:
1. Importance of deep work

In the internet era, you're a consumer all the time.

Cheap dopamine has killed your focus.

But top performers have 2 qualities:

• Ability to quickly master hard skills
• Produce at an elite level with speed

Both are the result of deep work. Image
2. The formula

High-performers don't work more hours than others.

In a study, Cal Newport found top students work 40% less than others.

High quality work produced = (Time spent) x ( Intensity of focus)

They're maximizing concentration in short bursts.

Coca-cola has been the industry leader for 136 years.

It's so big that you would find a Coke in Africa where clean water wasn't available.

But the massive success is deeply rooted in psychological tactics.

Charlie Munger, in his book, revealed 6 of them.

Here's a breakdown:
1. Formula secret

Charlie Said, "We will work obsessively to keep our formula secret."

And they hid it for a century.

Yet they knew that food engineers could produce the same taste one day.

But by then, they were so ahead that copying their flavor would not be a competition. Image
2. Product design

Nothing in Coke is by accident.

• Cold or hot - In extreme heat, cold liquid is consumed, but vice versa isn't true.

• Flavour - Sugar & caffeine are consumed worldwide. Coke has both.

• Color - Not bland sugar water, but premium champagne-like color. Image
