I’m an avid Google Street View user, and as a native Michigander I like to check out the changes to Detroit over the years. As I explored the streets of Detroit in images going back to 2009, I kept seeing these hand painted storefronts with a similar style Image

After doing some investigating, these signs were all done by one man, known professionally as Ron Signs. Ron’s work can be seen on almost every major Detroit street: 8 Mile, Gratiot, Grand River, Livernois, 7 Mile, Van Dyke, and more Image
