I just compared ChatGPT, Bard, Claude 2 and Llama 2!

Here is how they did on:

- Critical thinking
- Simple math
- Programming
- Riddles
- Creative writing

The summary of the results are shown at the end of this THREAD 👇
Before we start, I want to address a couple of things:

- This is by no means a conclusive/thorough study. This was done for fun testing different small questions just to see how they would do.
- I didn’t add those questions that all of them got correct, which were a lot.
- Some… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

RESULTS

All of them did pretty good.

Please keep in mind that they answered correctly most of time. I just wrote here those questions that at least one of the models got incorrectly.

- ChatGPT: 5/7
- Bard: 5/7
- Claude 2: 5/7
- Llama 2: 2/7

Meta just released Llama 2 🔥

An open source LLM that can be used for free for research and commercial use.

- Parameters
- Benchmarks
- Main takeaways
- Partnerships (Microsoft?)
- Links to try it out and more!

Here is everything you need to know [THREAD]:
👉 Llama 2 is a collection of pretrained and fine-tuned large language models (LLMs) ranging in scale from 7B to 70B parameters.

The base model seems to perform better than GPT-3 and similar to GPT-3.5 (besides coding).
👉 Llama 2 is free to download on your computer for research and also commercial use.

This is a huge step in the right direction for open-source models as this could offer more customizability and lower cost for businesses.

Google Bard’s latest update includes image recognition.

And people is coming up with incredible use cases.

Here are 8 new examples from this weekend (PLUS my take):
MY TAKE 📝

You can skip this tweet if you just want to see the examples :)

I’m quite impressed with the latest update of Google Bard. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect, it hallucinates sometimes. But remember, more than likely, it is just going to keep getting better and better.… https://t.co/ZqeV3zwHhKtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Google Bard’s update is INSANE!

It created me a website from a napkin sketch, with a single prompt 🤯

Here is how you can create yours:

[THREAD] Image
When I saw Greg Brockman (Co-founder of OpenAI) demonstrate the future multimodal capabilities of GPT-4, I was mind-blown.

But we were not able to try it.

With Bard’s update I wanted to recreate what Greg showcased to the world:

Turning a sketch into a functional website👇
TUTORIAL

First, go to

Click the “+” sign and add an image of your sketch and write your prompt.

My prompt: “Write a brief HTML/JS to turn this mock-up into a colorful website, where you replace the jokes with two real jokes” https://t.co/S8DiIOjZlpbard.google.com

I just cloned my voice for the first time and I’m amazed.

All I did is record myself talking in Spanish for 30 sec.

The result? I can write anything and it generates English audios with better accent than myself!

Here is how to do it for FREE & in minutes:
The tool that I used is @play_ht (Sponsored).

The first 2500 words are free for you to try.

One of the things I like is the capability to show more expressive performances and fantastic accent reproduction.
1. Record yourself.

To do this, you can use the “Sound Recorder” on your computer/phone (left pic) or an online free option (right).

30 seconds is fine but you can do longer for more accuracy. Image

Quantum Computers are going viral.

Google's new Quantum Computer completed a 47-year computational task in 6 sec.

But there is much more to Quantum Computers: History, safety, quantum programming & more.

A THREAD

1/10
Quantum computing, as a concept, was first proposed in the 1980s.

The idea was radical:

Instead of binary "bits" (0s & 1s), why not use quantum "qubits" that could be both at once?

2/10
But why was such a mind-bending idea needed?

Traditional computers have limits.

Moore's Law, predicting a doubling of computing power every two years, was showing signs of fatigue.

A new approach was needed for the most complex problems.
