WHERE DID THE URANIUM COME FROM?
Uranium was mined in U.S. long before 1950 as many mines opened up in 1944 & operating up until 1986 on Indigenous lands. The mines were on Navajo, Hopi, Apache, Pueblo, Ute, Paiute, Shoshones, & other lands belonging to Indigenous caretakers.

Mining companies & U.S. told staff to keep any educational materials about radiation away from Indigenous people. Many Indigenous miners went into these mines with no protective gear, went home, and exposed their families

my másání (maternal grandmother) passed away from uranium exposure so writing about this and reliving the facts was extremely hard. Please do not read if you or your family went through something similar. If you're like me, I pray for healing of your spirit as you'll need it (2)
