While I'm on the topic of Ania, a bit more digging unearthed more interesting details about this "Europol" NGO. It looks like not only her uses their membership to misleadingly introduce themselves as an officer of Europol - not the NGO, the EU law enforcement agency. 🧵
Let's work from the example provided by Ania herself, a certain Paul-Michel Manandiz, introducing himself in this article as a "Member of Europol – Interpol" among other interesting titles. Could it be a fluke? 👇
As you might have guessed, no. On his personal website, he names himself "Colonel of the Europol. Specializing in counter-propaganda and counter-terrorism". Quite a title, right? Let's take a closer look. 👇
There goes the answer, I guess. 🥲 But maybe it's not as much AI generated, as the document itself being carelessly made, because it has zero official value. Let me explain. 🧵
Of course, an exhibition of Mamuka's "art" uses his blatantly AI generated portrait on its poster. 🙈
But wait, there's more. 🧵
Of course, that event collected funds for GL. Surely, there will be public accounting and reporting on what the money will be used for… right?
Of course, Mamuka could not attend but gave a video speech from "the front" — that is to say, the same office with a camo background where he always does interviews. Норм.
I have a fairly simple question for you all.
In your experience, do sincere supporters of Ukraine usually obsess about "Ukrainian n4zis", brag about getting them suspended, and/or spam the replies of AFU defenders with hate and slander? 🤔
If you are not Ukrainian, a defender, a fundraiser, and/or a volunteer in 🇺🇦, if you have nothing original and interesting to say, and still beg for >5k followers? I will presume you are more interested in farming popularity and mute you. Sorry not sorry. Let me explain why. 🧵
Support for Ukraine on Twitter isn't a zero-sum game, but it's not a bottomless pool that one can sip visibility from with no consequence, either. Every view, follow, retweet that goes to an artificially amplified account is one that could instead go to Ukrainians... but doesn't.
"But I follow Ukrainian accounts!" they say, retweeting Gerashchenko, JJS, Mylovanov, Goncharenko and self-serving influencers, while Ukrainians get at best ignored, at worst attacked as "fake" when they call that out, while their relatives die, ignored and unsupported by most.
Let's see how well @help_mgeli's "We are NOT attacking Dimko!" is holding today... oh.
But surely, they would not be mass reporting him for what they call "death threats"... right, Mamukin?
@help_mgeli Golly, I wish I recalled who was fawning over Mamuka's beard in every space for 3 years.
@help_mgeli When an unbombed foreigner who's never even been to Ukraine writes such bullshit about a Ukrainian serving in the AFU in active duty, they very much deserve my highlighting and surrender the credibility of their support for Ukraine, @Ottersock101. 🙃
