Michele Lundgren, 73, is now facing criminal charges for putting her name down as a “fake elector” for Trump in an effort to deliver Michigan to him instead of Biden, who won the state in 2020. The craziest part of this story is that Lundgren claims the Republican party “duped”… https://t.co/muZSw1m8u0twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
The easy thing to do is feed the conservative content churn about civil war. The hard thing is asking yourself why these poor old people were blindfolded and earmuffed and told to stand in front of an oncoming train by people who knew they didn't stand a chance.
That is a good question. But I think the bigger story is that this scheme was doomed to fail but organized anyway and now these people are paying the price.
The Trump campaign admits that Trump isn’t running for president—he’s running a legal defense fundraiser pretending to be a campaign that doubles as a piggy bank for “people who don’t do much.”

Trump isn’t using his own money—he’s using your money, and so many of the conservative/right-wing voices that have styled themselves as “independent” will say nothing because they’re afraid of their audience or content to grift. https://t.co/1DROtlbQWy
The funny thing about people crying about “anonymous sources” is that Trump campaign spokesman Steve Cheung tries to justify this kind of spending in the literal next sentence

Here is Jen Psaki saying during a February 2022 press briefing that the use of cluster munitions would constitute a war crime. This is just a few days after the war started. Note the emphasis on the fact that these bombs, which the U.S. is now giving to Ukraine, kill civilians:
Laura Cooper, who told Congress last month that the Pentagon had concluded cluster bombs would give Ukraine a critical edge, and who testified against Trump during the Ukraine aid scandal. https://t.co/nypkQicUfOtime.com/6292308/ukrain…
This exchange is simply astonishing. Trump is either too much of an imbecile to understand what Bret Baier said to him in plain English or too much of a narcissist to care that his policies enabled murderers and drug traffickers.
There was an effort to include a component in the legislation to track the people released under the First Step Act. Naturally, Team Trump made sure it died. So gathering the information is very hard to do. Here is the Tucker Carlson exclusive: foxnews.com/politics/dozen…
This is the exact moment when Trump's brain misfires as he struggles to answer Baier about why he's talking about putting drug dealers to death after getting them early release.
