1. The Pincer Movement of Christianity on Hindus in #Manipur

#Meitei Hindus are under siege from Christianity from all sides. Tragedy of #Meiteis is not just that they have to fight #Kuki-Naga Christians in their own state. The tragedy is that they are under siege. This is how.

2. The geography of Manipur is peculiar and explains its name. Almost ninety percent of Manipur’s land is hills. Only 10-15% is valley area, but this valley area is at the centre and is surrounded by hills from all sides – hence the name – Manipur – a gem at the centre.

3. All the hills have been completely converted to Christianity with 100% saturation of Christians in most districts. And all the Meitei Hindus of Manipur (around 49%) live in the valley. Northern hills are Naga predominant and southern hills are Kuki/ Mizo predominant.

4. Looking at it ethnically, Meiteis are hemmed in at the centre and surrounded and besieged by Naga-Kuki Christian tribes from all sides. To go to any other Hindu area like Assam, and the rest of India, the Meiteis have to pass through Christian hills.

5. But there is more. The northern hills of Manipur are in geographical continuity with the Naga hills of Nagaland and the Naga-Self Administered zone of the Sagaing province of Myanmar. All these hills are Naga and almost 100% Christian in India and Myanmar.

6. The southern hills of Manipur are in geographical continuity with the Mizo/ Kuki hills of Mizoram in India; and with the Chin State in Myanmar, inhabited by sister Kuki tribes. This state is 87% Christian like Mizoram.

7. Thus, Meitei Hindus are not just surrounded by Christian hills inside Manipur only; they are hemmed in by absolute majority Christian states of Mizoram in south and Nagaland in north; and these Christian states are in continuity with the Christian majority states of Myanmar.

8. But there is more. The eastern rim of the Himalayas in Arunachal meet with another hill range somewhere in southern Arunachal Pradesh. Starting from the Naga Hills of Nagaland and Kachin State of Myanmar this range runs like a crescent until Arakan in south in Myanmar.

9. This hill range starts from Arakan hills in south in Myanmar, continues through Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh, Mizo hills in India, and Chin hills in Myanmar in centre, and ends with Naga hills of Nagaland in India and Sagaing and Kachin state in Myanmar.

10. These hill range may seem disparate to us, divided between three countries and nine states but they form a geographical, cultural and religious continuity. Most of these tribes have sister tribes across borders and all of them are almost 100% Christian.

11. Seen through this religious lens, the Meitei Hindus of the Manipur valley are the last Hindu remnants under siege from 100% Christian hills from all sides. And now the final push to end Hindu dharma in this valley is by pushing Meiteis to extinction or conversion.

12. The Church and Christianity has strategically moved during the past century and converged upon the very deeply Hindu Meiteis of the valley from both south and north in a pincer movement. And that movement is now complete, as Hindus are now besieged and enclaved.

13. The same pincer movement is now employed by converting Arunachal in the north and attacking Assam from both north and south, and as Assam is the last remaining Hindu bastion (upper Assam) its demise will be the demise of Hindu dharma in north-east.

14. As the Kukis and Nagas are classed as ST, so Hindu Meiteis can’t settle in their lands. Since Hindu Meteis being Hindu are punished by Constitution and not considered ST, their lands can be settled by anyone and that’s why the Church is pushing to occupy Meitei Hindu lands.

15. It is extremely arrogant and stupid for constitution worshipping Hindus to resent the state opposition of Meiteis to Indian State. They resent us because we left them to die for more than 70 years and because we let their Christian siege from all sides be complete.

16. A Hindu dharmic civilizational state will protect Hindus all over the world, whether or not they respect a certain law book or not. That’s what our enemies do. If we don’t do that, last remnants of Hindus in north-east will also disappear soon.
