SitRep - 28/07/23 - Advances along the front and the attack on Dnipro

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Today Ukraine made progress in several places on the front, but Dnipro was also hit by two Iskander missiles.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 28/07/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff. We include footage of damaged or destroyed equipment or personnel.

The Russian MoD claimed Ukraine attacked Moscow district with drones this morning.

Lets continue with general events. This evening Russia attacked Dnipro, likely as a relatiation for the strikes inside Russia. Two Iskander missiles struck Dnipro. One hit a high-rise residential building, another hit a former SBU building (empty).

Japan imposed sanctions on Russia regarding exports of cars.

Russia wants to talk, again. Zelenskyi has said it over and over: Ukraine doesn't talk with terrorists.

To the fronts. Vasylivka axis:

AFU has made progress SE of Kam'yans'ke and are within 2KM of Luhove. RU are reinforcing the line with BARS units and units of the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade, coming from defensive lines near Myrne. Increased pressure on Zhereb'yanky..

Two Russians decided to surrender to the AFU after their positions got targeted.

Robotyne is an absolute meatgrinder for Russians. Yes, Ukrainians take losses as well but Russians are wiped out left and right due to massive artillery barrages almost 24/7.

Bakhmut south axis:

➡️The AFU (28th mech.) has pushed along the Donbas Canal towards Kurdyumivka and have reached the northern outskirts.
➡️Both Klishchiivka and Andriivka are empty. RU is on the outskirts.

Good news is expected from Andriivka, I think tomorrow 😉😉

Kherson axis:

➡️After initial RU claims 2,5 weeks ago, the AFU has now crossed the Konka river in a second location a bit more west, geoconfirmed.
➡️Russian sources report lots of AFU DRG (recon) units active along the whole embankment near the Antonivskyi bridge.
