SitRep - 31/07/23 - Terrorism in Kryvyi Rih and Chonhar railway bridge is temporarily down

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. This morning Russia hit Kryvyi Rih with Iskander missiles, injuring many people and also killing 5 people.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 31/07/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff. We also include footage of destroyed or captured Russian equipment or personnel.

A Russian tank was targeted, although it looks like a miss
A Russian BTR-82A was destroyed while trying to hide with camo on top of it. Didn't work out.
A summary of various pieces of Russian equipment destroyed in the Bakhmut direction
A Russian abandoned T-72B3 destroyed by the 93rd brigade
Yet another 2S4 was destroyed by Ukrainian artillery.
Let's continue with the general events. In occupied Crimea they have really started to worry about the fate of the Kerch Bridge. They added naval barriers to defend the bridge against incoming naval drones.
Another terrorist crime. Russian forces hit a residential high-rise building and an educational institute this morning with two Iskander missiles.

Right now... 6 killed, 75 wounded.
Slovakia will soon hand over the first 2 out of 16 newly produced Zuzana 2 SPH.

Footage of the Chonhar train bridge allegedly attacked by Ukraine on July 28-29 has emerged. This shows that the railway tracks are indeed damaged and that the train connection is currently out of service.
Ukraine and Croatia reached an agreement to use the ports of Croatia for a new route for grain export.
Ukraine received another US grant.
Ukraine also signed an agreement with Baykar for the construction of a UAV center in Ukraine.
The US will attend a summit regarding Ukraine, aiming for peace, in Saudi Arabia.
Let's continue with the front. Vasylivka axis:

➡️No map changes
➡️The 15th operational brigade Kara-Dag has started offensive actions towards Novopokrovka since a few days. We have seen some footage claiming advances which couldn't be tracked back to a particular area yet. Image

South Bakhmut axis:

➡️Based on UA soldiers reports, the main task now is destroying as much mortar/artillery in the close vicinity of Andriivka and Klishchiivka. Both are left by Russia but can't be fully secured due to the lack of defensive positions and continuous shelling. Image
Velyka Novosilka axis:

➡️RU sources (re)confirm Staromaiors'ke is in AFU hands.
➡️Preliminary info coming from Novodonets'ke and Novomaiors'ke. Waiting for confirmation. Gray zone expanded.
➡️AFU is pushing southwards between Pryyutne-Staromaiors'ke and the flanks of Urozhaine. Image
RU source Romanov states that the AFU controls Staromaiors'ke and that the situation in Urozhaine is deteriorating. Romanov also claims it is a matter of time before Urozhaine is left.
