People think solar panels are good for the environment but they’re not. They’re made with toxic heavy metals and aren’t recycled. Most are made with coal in China and produce produce 3x more CO2 than IPCC thought. And they require 300-600x more land than other energy sources. https://t.co/7gmynXBQTo
It’s always been possible to recycle solar panels but it will always be cheaper to buy raw materials to make new ones and dump the old ones in landfills or on poor African nations. That’s why all of the solar panel makers oppose any requirement that they recycle.

Every few years the media ask whether there’s some technical fix to the fact that solar requires 300-600x more land than other energy sources and of course there isn’t. You can’t make sunlight more energy dense. See for yourself:

Most of what people think about the environment is wrong. They project secular religious ideas of harmony onto a physical reality. In truth, the energy density of the fuel, or “flow” (eg, sunlight) determines the environmental impact. It’s basic physics.

environmentalprogress.org/power-density-…
Because sunlight is energy dilute you have to spread solar collectors (panels) across 300-600x more land, use hundreds of times more materials, and produce hundreds of times more waste.

The reason people must fear-monger about the environment, and demonize truth tellers, is to distract everyone from fundamental physical realities. Here’s an overview of what they are:

environmentalprogress.org/the-case-again…
These fundamental physical realities have required that China use “forced labor,” a euphemism to avoid using the s word, to make solar panels. It’s unconscionable that we continue to import solar panels from China, given what we know.

Facebook and YouTube say they're "social media platforms," but they're not. They censor accurate info in response to White House demands and spread state-sanctioned disinformation. Congress should stop protecting them from lawsuits, which enables their unchecked abuses of power.
When Congress protected social media platforms from liability in 1996, its intention was to increase freedom of speech, not reduce it.

By censoring "often-true content" and promoting government disinfo, Facebook & YouTube are violating the spirit, if not the letter, of the law.
The risk of Congress taking away Section 230 protections from YouTube and Facebook is that they would disallow even more content, which is true.

But users would still have Rumble, X, and other Section 230-protected platforms for posting content.

The White House says it didn't censor anyone, but new emails show it demanded Facebook censor posts about the lab leak.

People think racial preferences in college admissions & hiring are progressive, but they’re not. They’re racist. California voters are overwhelmingly liberal & we rejected racial preferences not once but twice at the ballot box. @realchrisrufo is right.

.@realchrisrufo is conservative but has done more to advance the liberal vision of a color-blind society — as proposed by Martin Luther King, Jr during the March of Washington — than any liberal alive to day. That’s both praise for Chris and a criticism of illiberal progressives. Image

This is disinformation. The world has never produced larger food surpluses. By your own standard, your tweet should be censored. https://t.co/7QRWQHJjRO

Here you are, demanding censorship of "misinformation" while you spread toxic disinformation.

You know perfectly well that the world produces gigantic food surpluses

The @UNFAO has shown that fertilizer, tractors, and irrigation will continue to massively outweigh climate change. You @antonioguterres know this and yet you continue to lie about both food and climate change while demanding censorship of accurate information. Image

People say solar panels don't produce carbon emissions, but they do. And now, a major new investigation by Environmental Progress, drawing on the research of @enricomariutti , finds that solar panels made in China produce at least 3x more carbon emissions than IPCC claims. Image
