This is Xavier Hardin.

Xavier shot and killed 17 year old Kenneth Bottoms at my local shopping mall in 2020.

Right in front of Bath & Body Works.

My initial thoughts were, ‘Wow. What a piece of shit. Who opens fire at a crowded shopping mall??’

But over time my outlook would change.
Xavier Hardin was already the victim of 2 shootings prior to the mall incident.

In November of 2019, bullets struck a car Xavier was sitting in that left his friend, Darius Bolden, dead.

This is my elusive oldest daughter, Kennedy. (She doesn’t do social media)

She was 3 pounds 13 ounces at birth. She was born on methadone in 2006 and spent two months in the NICU.

I was there EVERY single day.

Her mother would soon abandon her, leaving only me to raise her.
