@sphynxbtc i think this also is related to what we were talking about- the use of some loaded words as slurs/insults in a conversation..it has the same effect as personal attacks on appearance. I think some people do it to reinforce their argument but it kills convo instead. Image
I’ve been guilty of that when speaking to people i know are not open to what i have to say, & as a response to someone who has engaged in a personal attack.
I think it’s psychological- its aimed at trying to get the person being attacked to disengage from the conversation & silencing the message.

THREAD FROM LAST NIGHT, PART 2: The bump stock ban, & now under Joe Biden the rule/ban on 80% frames/receivers & on pistol braces followed the exact same methodology: AFT abuse of & exceeding Chevron Deference INFERRED powers to REWRITE these laws...
The ATF had to change the definition of a machine gun in its 'determination' of what a machine gun is to write a new rule adding bump stocks to the NFA, dictating who could own them; this new 'rule' came with 10-year prison sentence & $250k fine for non-compliance.
Chevron Deference is a legal doctrine that originates from a US SCOTUS ruling in Chevron USA v Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc in 1984.

So last night, Firearms Policy Coalition @gunpolicy scored a MASSIVE victory over the ATF & #illegitimate Biden Regime. Last night, the US Northern District of TX Federal Court ruled that the ATF’s ‘frame & receiver’ so-called ‘rule’ was NULL & VOID.
Let’s dive into this exciting case and its implications! This case primarly was a plaintiff, Jennifer VanDerStock represented by FPC in a lawsuit to challenge the ATF’s rule stating that 80% frames & receivers that are pejoratively called ‘Ghost Guns’ by the anti-gun extremists &
..the Left. They are only 80% machined & require the buyer to perform the remaining 20% machining to turn into a gun.
