SitRep - 03/08/23 - Progress..

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. The AFU is making progress despite many obstacles. Around Robotyne, the AFU is getting closer to Verbove and the AFU is now within reach of Klishchiivka and Andriivka.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 03/08/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff.

+620 men
+7 tanks
+21 APVs
+26 artillery pieces
+4 MLRS
+2 AD systems

Ukraine got attacked overnight again, this time from the Bryansk region. Fortunately the air defense was better prepared.
A(nother) D-30 howitzer was destroyed. This time in the Donetsk region
Unlucky.
Today two air defense systems (BUK) were destroyed in Ukraine. The 80th Air Assault Brigade presented one of them.
Later that day, another one was destroyed in the Zaporizhzia direction 🪄
The 110th brigade showing more footage lately. They operate in the vicinity of Avdiivka (Opytne-Vodyane area).
The 92nd mechanized is engaged in heavy fighting near Kuzemivka-Novoselivske. In this video, multiple pieces of Russian equipment including two tanks were destroyed in a battle.
Another towed artillery pieced shred to pieces.
Early in the morning it was reported that an ammo dump north of Berdyansk was hit. Later that day, footage emerged.
Let's continue with the general events. Another example of how peaceful our Russian priests are to their fellow man, just as the Bible prescribes. Or not?
Brazilian President Lula complained that nobody wants to listen to his peace plan. I wonder why.
Footage of a Danish supplied CAESAR Tatra 8x8 chasis SPH firing a M864 cluster shell. Very cool piece of equipment if you ask me.
Soon Russia will have more mobiks than artillery shells.

Additional sanctions for Belarus by the Council of the EU.
Important. Zelenskyi's office confirmed that negotations regarding security guarantees for Ukraine have started with the US.

To the front, Vasylivka-Robotyne:

➡️AFU has progressed eastwards towards Verbove.
➡️Ukrainian units control trenches which are part of the very first lines of defense (Surovikin lines).
➡️Fighting near Novopokrovka seems to be increasing. Image
Footage of the Ukrainian forces inside the trenches built by Russians prior to this offensive. This line is the first out of 3. The first one is the least fortified.
In addition the General Staff confirmed some forward movement by a couple of hundred meters deep and 1,5km wide. Yet to be confirmed.
Bakhmut-Kurdyumivka:

➡️AFU has taken over an important stronghold north of Kurdyumivka. They are about to enter the town.
➡️The same goes for Andriivka. The AFU has been battering dug-outs and artillery/mortar positions and are gradually moving into the settlement. Image
Regarding Klishchiivka. Russian forces have already left it some days ago but are heavily entrenched east of it, bombarding the settlement daily. As there is barely any defensive options left, it's hard to get in unseen. Let alone clear it. Fighting is going on north of it.. 🫡

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Moscow was again hit by Ukrainian drones last night. Less intense than the previous attack, but again a ministerial building was hit. Air defense? Anyone?
