SitRep - 06/08/23 - Chonhar & Heniches'k bridges hit

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Gifts were distributed to Russia on the National Day of the Air Force of Ukraine. Chonhar bridge and the Heniches'k strait bridge were hit.

As usual we start with Russian losses per 06/08/23 reported by the Ukrainian general staff. We include footage of confirmed damaged or destroyed Russian equipment or personnel. Tomorrow 250K!

A fairly big attack last evening/night. Russia attacked with a combination of missiles and drones in several waves. Ukrainian AD did a pretty good job. 100% interception rate on the drones, 75% on the missiles.
A Russian ammo dump was found an destroyed
Vnukovo Intl. Airport in Moscow was temporariy shut down due to an unknown drone, which later was shot down on the approaches of Moscow.
Another Msta-S self propelled howitzer torn to pieces by an FPV drone.
A Russian regular car hosting personnel was targeted and destroyed south of Robotyne
Results in Kupyansk.
The 110th operating near Avdiivka destroyed a grenade launcher, ammo truck and a Msta-B howitzer.
Another ammo depot destroyed. Good boom!
I personally think it is really to good to be true but I really wanted to share this rumour
In Mar'inka, Russians keep donating to the turret fund.
Probably due to counter battery fire. A big fire on the left bank.
To the general events. Today is the official day of the Ukrainian Air Force.
Zelenskyi visited a Ukrainian Air Base where he awarded soldiers and other personnel, gave a speech and signed the Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG missiles that were handed over by The UK and France.
In Jeddah the summit begun with over 35 countries. They initially agreed to respect Ukraine's territorial integrity but that was about it. No concrete further steps.
The former motherland monument now has a different, much better coat of arms. The Ukrainian trident was installed. Later, the monument will be renamed.
Budanov in an interview with Bulgarian television said that whatever happened, Ukraine would resume the grain deal.

And then, the big news of today. Ukraine hit both the Heniches'k Strait bridge and the Chonhar bridge with Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG missiles. The Heniches'k Strait bridge seems to have taken the most damage.
But also the Chonhar bridge was filled with 3 holes, Vladimir Saldo later confirmed.
Some quotes need to be taken with 20 pinches of salt but in general, the bridges are down for a while
To the front, no map updates (tomorrow new maps including an extensive one from Svatove/Kupyansk) but general updates.

Vasylivka-Robotyne:

➡️Fighting is on the edges of Robotyne.
➡️The last 24h, Russians counterattacked west of Verbove and managed to decrease the gray zone.
Velyka Novosilka:

Ukrainian forces are actively fighting their way into Urozhaine coming from the north, west (Staromaiors'ke) and the east. Russians claim to have a very bad situation there and complain about the lack of artillery
