ACC/PAC4 first then. Stanford and Cal going to the ACC as a pair is a very real possibility now. FSU and Clemson are not happy about it. The monetary gain would be small and the travel would be a nightmare.
ORST and WSU would be completely screwed as the apple offer goes away with Stanford.
This also gives ESPN late window games and lessens their desire for B12 to expand further.
Monetary gain would be prorata for ACC additions so that’s a wash unless there is a buy in period or unequal revenue share.
Second level of monetary gain would be ACCN getting into California. That could see the ACC boosted $2-3m per year eventually.

Evening update. B12 is still vetting schools but ESPN is now tamping down further expansion efforts in an attempt to keep more dominoes from falling.
Espn wants to just stick Stanford and Cal into the ACC, throw a little more money that can go to FSU and Clemson exclusively and call it a day.
Expansion is “contagious” and money is tight. Espn doesn’t want to have to open the purse strings to sate the SEC who very much wants to match B10 at 18 now.
PAC poaching still a risk. BY has had talks with all 4 of the remnants and will be vetting this week. Only has ESPN money to spend as FOX has not approved these additions. Espn will get all these games for late night window
Top target Stanford. Also the biggest long shot.
SDSU would be the next in line if Stanford is a no. But won’t be considered if Stanford is a yes.
BY recommended to B12 CEOs today that we expand by 4 in basketball and Olympic sports. Schools he has had the most serious discussions with are Gonzaga, Villanova, UConn and St John’s (a late addition after Seton Hall talks cooled).
Marquette, Georgetown, and Creighton have also been in talks but certain factors relegated them lower.
Marquette has great support and a decent market but the allure of NYC market was too great to put them ahead of St John’s.
Some drips of info hitting the bucket. GK still only has the ESPN/Amazon offer of $22m per school. Apple offer could be months away-Apple moving slowly and it could be as late as July for negotiations.
Apple offer could see PAC spending millions a year to produce their own games.
UCLA and USC May litigate to not have to pay back Comcast money alleging mismanagement by the conference
On the eve of a significant B12 meeting got a few tidbits to offer up
We are back at 4 basketball only schools that are in discussions with joining. 1 out west, 3 in the east.
B12 in very serious talks with 4 of the 6 PAC schools that BY has met with in the past 3 days. 2 of those 4 are ready to jump as soon as they get confirmation a better deal isn’t coming for PAC.
