NEWS: Special counsel Jack Smith obtained a search warrant for Donald Trump's Twitter account in January.

A delay in compliance by the company prompted a federal judge to hold Twitter in contempt and fine the company $350,000.

At the heart of the issue was a "nondisclosure order" appended to the search warrant, prohibiting Twitter from disclosing the existence of the warrant to anyone. Twitter objected to that restriction and delayed producing Trump's data.

JUST IN: Special counsel team says it can be ready for a hearing on any day this week. Trump team asks for a Monday or Tuesday hearing, even though Judge Chutkan asked to set a hearing by this Friday.

One very obvious option is to do it Thursday afternoon and have Blanche call in remotely from Florida, since arraignment will be long over by then.

The biggest point of contention: Who is Donald Trump allowed to share evidence with to prepare his defense. His team wants a very loose definition that could allow for "volunteer attorneys" or others without "paid employment arrangements."
