One Piece Episode 1072 will be the first action One Piece episode in which Megumi Ishitani will participate as an SB artist. So far in Wano, she has only Sb & directed non-action episodes. In this mini-thread, I will show some action scenes that she has storyboarded in the past Image
I do not know if many people know this, but she was the director of Dragon Ball Super episode 131, where she also storyboarded the whole episode. That scene in particular is one of my favourites from the tournament arc

KA: Kenta Yokaya
The climax of the tournament arc is also a scene that Ishitani storyboarded, which is my personal favourite of the episode, as I really enjoyed seeing Frieza and Goku working together, and I feel that Ishitani did a solid job with the SB.

KA: Yuya Takahashi
In Op, she has yet to storyboard a proper action episode, but some of her episodes have had a couple of action sequences like this one. I really like the way Luffy jumps in the sky and launches the Red Hawk at the fodders, this scene was really well storyboarded.

KA: Tu Yong CE
1015 is my favourite episode of all of OP, mainly because of the amazing direction, but it had 1 action scene towards the end and it is Luffys Red Roc, also storyboarded by Megumi Ishitani. Nothing much to say here, she killed it.

Ka: Takashi Kojima
This short Yamato vs. Kaido sequence is also part of 1015, there's not a lot of action here as the scene cuts off right where Yamato was going to hit Kaido, but I'm just mentioning it because I like the way the beginning of the attack was storyboarded.

KA: Tu Yong Ce
All in all, I believe Megumi Ishitani will do a good job, I don't think she will storyboard more than 3 minutes, but they will be 3 good minutes, no matter if it is action or drama, Megumi Ishitani can do both.

According to many "leaks", Takashi Kojima will take part in the legendary episode 1071 in a few weeks, so I decided to make a thread about all his contributions to the One Piece anime, so enjoy. Image
Takashi Kojima's first contribution to the One Piece franchise was in the 3D2Y movie, where he animated Luffy's Red Hawk. This sequence is absolutely stunning and I really love Kojima's art on Luffy at the beginning, it makes him look so much like a younger version of Ace.
One Piece Episode 677 was the first time Kojima worked on an anime. It was about 1 year after his work on the 3D2y movie. He animated Kyros cutting off Doffy's head, it does not look as good as his cut in the movie, but it still looks pretty decent for Dressrosas standards.
