I'm going to educate all of you on this video snippet that some are trying to use in order to smear GEN Charles Flynn. In the video with @TuckerCarlson, Steven Sund, the Capitol Police Chief explains that he was on a call where he requested National Guard support on J6.

Sund explains that Mayor Bowser, Chief Contee, LTG Piatt, and GEN Flynn were on the call with him. Let's make a clarification. It was LTG Charles Flynn, not general Flynn. I point this out because he used Piatt's proper rank...and rank matters, especially in this case.

In the interview, Sund tells @TuckerCarlson that Piatt said, "I don't like the optics of the National Guard on Capitol Hill." Interview is linked below.

InTheMatrixxx and The_AuthorityQ are using this as an opportunity to claim that LTG Charles Flynn delayed sending the National Guard on J6 by over 3 hours. If they knew anything about the military and DoD, they'd realize that there is a chain of command and there are processes.

First, let's discuss a critical process...MDMP otherwise known as the Military Decision Making Process. Military officers don't just rush to decisions. That would be reckless. They use the MDMP to identify COAs (Course of Action).

MDMP calls for the Future Vision to be identified...the desired end state and multiple COAs are created as possible methods to achieve that Future Vision. COAs are evaluated and selected based on likelihood of success.

So, in this case, it's expected for the officers on the phone to present and evaluate alternative courses of action...instead of rushing to make a bad situation worse. Everyone tracking so far? Good.

Now let's talk chain of command. In the Army Leadership, we have two offices that work together...The Secretary of the Army and the Chief of Staff of the Army. A civilian and 4 star General, respectively. Who outranks who in this case? Always the civilian.

Now look at this org chart. Pay close attention.

LTG Piatt is the Director of the Army Staff. He was the officer that did most of the talking with Sund. His position is highlighted in yellow. LTG Charles Flynn was the Deputy Chief G-3/5/7 of Operations.

LTG Piatt's boss was Ryan McCarthy (Sec Army) and LTG Flynn's boss was GEN McConville. Might explain why LTG Flynn didn't do a lot of talking. He wasn't the final decision maker in this case. He was there as an advisor...to help execute MDMP on the fly.

If a person wants to question DoD operations and personnel, it might be helpful if they actually have a background serving in an operational command. But these accusers have never served our country.

Lastly, if there was any wrongdoing by his brother, why would @GenFlynn promote @TuckerCarlson's interview?

Also worth noting, LTG Piatt is still in the same position. He was passed over for promotion. Where's Charles Flynn? Well, he was promoted to the rank of 4 star General. If there was any wrongdoing on his part, he wouldn't have been promoted. Got it?
