This temple dedicated to Lord Shiv is on top of Chauragarh hill and devotees have to climb nearly 1300 steps to reach the temple at the crest. Devotees offer Trishul in this temple.

The name Pachmarhi is derived from Panch ("five") and Marhi ("caves").
These caves were built by Pandavas during their exile.
Jata Shankar caves in Pachmarhi.
Jatashankar caves are considered as very sacred place as the caves are believed to be the spot where Lord Shiv concealed himself from the wrath of Bhasmasur.

It is one of the ancient temples in Pachmarhi and is dedicated to Lord Shiv.
Bada Mahadev Cave is the place where Lord Vishnu killed Demon Bhasmasura taking the form of Mohini.
Pachmarhi is known as Satpura ki Rani (Queen of Satpura) because this place is not only a part of the Satpura Biosphere Reserve, but also home to the Satpura National Park and Tiger Reserve, and Dhupgarh, the state’s highest point.
Dhoopgarh is the highest point in the Mahadeo Hills (Satpura Range), Madhya Pradesh.
Recently, MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that a ropeway will be built from Pachmarhi in Narmadapuram up to Chauragarh, the main pilgrimage site of Satpura.
Bee Falls.
At a distance of 4-5 km from Pachmarhi Bus Station, Bee Falls is a natural waterfall located in the pristine hill station of Pachmarhi.
