You see all of these people making $50,000 days dropshipping on TikTok & Reels.

You may feel like you’re missing out.

I wrote a thread to show you why the high ticket is a better model.

// THREAD // 🧵
Everyone’s seen the 1 product dropshipping stores.

Pop up a Shopify site.

1 landing page.

TikTok post goes off.

Instant $50K.

Mmm. Not so simple.
For every 1 people that succeeds in doing that, there are hundreds, if not thousands, that don’t.

The ones that do succeed....

They make some fast cash for a couple of months, but inevitably, the product hype dies off, and they’re back to square one.
You CAN make a lot of money doing this. But it’s a constant rat wheel chasing the new “hot” product.

Hardly a self-sustaining business.
Without the ability to constantly find the new “hot” product, the business stagnates.

This makes the business nearly impossible to sell, and you have the constant worry of wondering whether you’ll be able to find the next hot product.

So, what’s the solution?
Let’s start by defining a few characteristics of a successful business:

👉 Capable of becoming self-sustaining
👉 Consistent growth over time
👉 Improving net profit margins as the business increases in age
👉 Capable of being sold for a high multiple
Why does nobody buy your 1 product dropshipping product?

Because nobody knows who you/your brand is.

How do you fix this?

Simple. Sell brands that people already know.
What is a high-ticket eCom store?

Imagine it as your own mini Wayfair.

Wayfair is a brand that sells other brands products.
For example - if you were going to buy an Iphone, do you care if you get it from Amazon or Best Buy?

Likely not. Why? because you’re getting the same product regardless of where you buy it.

This is the power of high ticket eCom.
You get to leverage existing brands to build up your own brand.

Over time, your brand becomes associated with well known brands, and you start getting your OWN search traffic.
High ticket eCom also allows you to increase your profit margins over time.

You can build a self-sustaining asset that you can sell for multiple millions if done correctly.
Not only will paid ads allow you to make sales right away, but by driving more people to your website, with a well-optimized lead capture form, you can start building out an email list.

If you so choose, you can reinvest a portion of your profits into content marketing and SEO.
You can build up your DA rating and acquire high-quality backlinks to increase your organic traffic over time.

👉 Large email list of engaged customers
👉 Organic SEO traffic

= Higher profit margins.
While some of the products you sell will see seasonal swings, many will not.

For the ones that do, how can you combat seasonality?

Simply sell inversely correlated products (kayaks, and snow shoes) to negate any negative effects.
How to increase your revenue? Sell more products from more brands.

How?

Reach out to them and ask to sell their stuff.

The more sales and suppliers you have, the better suppliers you can attract.

This means growing your revenue Year-over-year is extremely simple.
To grow, add more products and run more ads.

This means that the longer you own your business, the more valuable it becomes as your

👉 Margins increase
👉 Customer base increases in size
👉 Supplier list/product list grows
👉 Organic traffic grows
You can also build out SOPs, hire a team, and remove yourself from the day-to-day operations of the business.
When looking to sell, all of the following factors will increase the multiple you can exit for:

👉 A large email list
👉 Organic traffic
👉 Increasing YoY sales
👉 Business owner removed from the day-to-day operations of the business
It may sound cliche, but a high ticket store is far more of a “business” than traditional dropshipping.

You can build a team, automate operations, and see consistent growth over time by selling high-quality products from high-quality brands located in the USA.
How big can you grow your high ticket store?

BBQ Guys is a largely eCom/dropshipping-based store located in the US.

They were nearly acquired for $1B last year. Image
If you don't sell.

After years of hard work, one day, if you so choose, you’ll have

👉 A massive email list
👉 built up organic traffic base, and
👉 Established brand name to launch your OWN brand.

So...you can sell, or launch your own brand.

A win-win.

"I don't live in the United States, can I do High Ticket eCom?"

I get this question multiple times per day so I wrote a thread**

*Not Accounting or Legal Advice - just my own experience*

// THREAD // 🧵🧵
In short, yes you can.

There are 3 ways that you can do this.

1. Sell within the US with a foreign entity (me).

2. Form a US LLC and Sell in US.

3. Sell within your non-US country with a company formed in your home country.

I'll briefly discuss each option.
We will start with the first.

This is my set-up.

This was my set up when I started (and still lived in Canada).

What do I need to sell within the US?

(i) A US EIN (Employment Identification Number).

Essentially a SIN/SSN for your business.

If I had to start a High Ticket eCom store from scratch....

These are the EXACT 5 steps I would take to hit $300,000/month in my first 6 months.

//THREAD// 🧵 Image
// STEP 1: Business Setup 💼

I would get everything set up properly from a business POV.

👉 Business phone/address/credit card/banking
👉 US EIN
👉 Corporation/LLC created
👉 Google drive for organization

This whole process would only take 1-3 days maximum.
// STEP 2: Identifying a Profitable Niche 💰

After setting up my business, I would then look for a profitable niche.

A niche that I knew had:

👉 High margins
👉 Plenty of high-quality suppliers
👉 Existing demand

Not sure what niche to start your first High Ticket eCom store in?

Here's the EXACT process I used to select my niche that I scaled to over $200,000/month in my first 90 days.

// THREAD // 🧵
A business is like a pyramid 🔺

Picking an excellent niche is equivalent to having a strong base.

Get this right, and your life will 100x easier the rest of the way.

Follow this process EXACTLY to nail this step:
👉 STEP 1: Brainstorming

Brainstorm products that cost over $1,000.

Don’t be picky. Think of anything:

> Grills
> Saunas
> Kayaks
> 3D Printers
> Watch safes
> E-Bikes

These are some obvious ones, but the MORE unique, the better.

I've sold over 30 of these home gyms.

I buy them wholesale at $2,525 and sell them for $4,778.

After ads and shipping, the net profit is around $1,500/each.

All you need is $1,500-$3,000 to get started with High Ticket Dropshipping.

Here’s the step-by-step process:
1. File an LLC, open a business bank account on Wise and get a business address.

2. Choose a central theme for your eCommerce store (outdoor, home, garden, fire, steam, fitness, etc).

3. To go "Google Shopping" and search for products that cost over $1,000.
4. Find potential products and check their brand

5. Visit the brand's website, contact their sales team, and ask to be an authorized reseller.

6. Create a website on Shopify.

7. Once you become an authorized reseller, list their products on your website.

$100,000 a year is only $274/day.

You can either work 2080 hours for $48/hour.

Or make 100 sales of a product at $1,000 profit each.

Here’s how:
For context:

18 months ago, I started a high-ticket ecommerce store.

So far I’ve sold over $5,950,000 worth of luxury items.

Some of those items make me over $1,000 in profit.

The crazy part?

I sell products I don’t even own.

And that’s fully legal.

Let me explain…
So here’s exactly what I do:

I find products from premium US suppliers

I ask them permission to become an authorized reseller and list their products on my store

Then, all I have to do is market their product

Here’s how I got started…

I buy this massage chair for $4,350 from a supplier, sell it for $10,048 on my online store, and profit $4,700.

Without ever seeing or touching the product.

It's called "High Ticket Dropshipping".

Here's how it works:
Here is what I do:

1. I identify high price products (ideally over $3,000) with high demand. The higher the price, the more net profit per sale I make. I check demand using a keyword tool.

2. Once I find a great product, I identify the top suppliers in the US for that product.
3. I create a demo store on Shopify with some sample products, that way I come across professional and trustworthy.

4. I reach out to suppliers and introduce my brand and explain the value I will bring their business, and become an authorized retailer of their products.
