Recently, I’ve refereed readers to the crucial writings of international anti-mafia activist & author Roberto Saviano. Though his work is great, I suggest he makes a couple of mistakes.

Firtsly - and of less significance - he suggests that the world’s wealthy elite copied money-laundering & tax-evasion from the drug-cartels. I respectfully suggest Roberto has that the wrong-way-around.

The world’s elites - especially the British oligarchy - were money-laundering for centuries. Via places like Crown tax-haven Jersey island. The drug cartels saw that - and copied it.

Secondly - and of greater significance - in his book on the world’s cocaine-trade - Zero, Zero, Zero - Roberto takes some time to explain how the cocaine-trade is the richest commodity - the most profitable investment - on Earth.

He takes as an example an investment in shares with Apple - and contrast that with a similar “investment” in cocaine-trafficking. A reviewer of Zero, Zero, Zero explains:
