Make no mistake: pressure for this is coming from US State Dept, USAID & NED. This is a political counterinsurgency tool, primarily to stop right-wing populist parties rising in the polls.

This will end anonymity in crowds, & cripple much anonymity online. China-style control.

Try to imagine having lived through multiple years where you & 90% of your friends & family were systemically censored, banned, & lost platforms it took years & even decades to build up.

Great piece by @JustTheNews on X's new censorship hiring spree under Aaron Rodericks.

DisinfoDocket, from which Rodericks recruits new censors, is spun off from Carnegie Endowment for Int'l Peace.

That org was run by Bill Burns, Biden's CIA director.
