Whenever you see someone taking a stand against the establishment and whipping up rebellious populist enthusiasm in the US, just watch and wait. 95% of the time they'll get around to telling you that the best way to achieve your revolution is to vote for Democrats or Republicans.
They might not do it right away. They might put a spin on it by telling you that you need to vote for the right kind of Democrat or Republican. But they'll get there eventually. And then they've got you feeding your energy into supporting the establishment they pretend to oppose.
In the hub of the US empire there's not just controlled opposition, there's controlled opposition to the controlled opposition. If you reject both parties, they corral you into supporting a fake anti-establishment movement within one of those two parties. They get you either way.

It's just a straightforward fact that the more miserable, impoverished and disempowered the public becomes, the more vitriolic and all-consuming the artificial culture war will be made to prevent revolution. Because how fucked up is it that they're doing this? How fucked up is it that the most influential voices in our society on both sides of the mainstream partisan divide are facilitating the abuse of marginalized groups in order to protect the powerful.
It's about as loathsome a thing as you could possibly come up with. Draw attention to how disgusting what they're doing is. Draw attention to how deeply evil this behavior is.

More people should probably be aware that there's heaps of evidence that the US and its allies actively sabotaged peace between Ukraine and Russia in the early days of this war, and that the US alliance wants this war to continue in order to weaken Russia. Let's make a thread.
1. Ukrainian pravda reported that in the early days of the war Boris Johnson flew to Ukraine and told Zelensky that even if Ukraine was ready to hold peace talks, the west was not prepared to support this.
