>"my favorite cartoon is deep and adults like me can watch"

>*cartoon gets criticized for obvious glaring issues*

>"whoa whoa hey come onnn it's a kid's show give it a breaaak it's not that deeeep you're such a weirdo pedophile chud"

why are cartoon fans like this Image
It's ok to like kid's shows but pretending they're flawless and are peak fiction is a hell of a cope.

I mean, I watched the shit out of Adventure Time. It had flaws. But it was such a fun show with surprisingly expansive lore.
>"I want cartoons for adults!!!"

>points at adult cartoons

>"EWWW THE CHARACTERS ARE PROBLEMATIC, I HATE NUANCES!"

How are these people make it into their 20s/30s Image

Gonna play the devil's advocate 🧵

1. Wireless headphones usually last 24-50 hours of playback per full charge, which usually takes an hour.

2. This isn't beats by Dr Dre era anymore. Bluetooth technology has evolved exponentially. Sony's have LDAC and DSE built-in.

3. I agree
Also a lot of DAC dongles are better than built-in headphone jacks.

If you plug $200 "audiophile" headphones directly onto the phone, you're doing audio wrong. Your headphone jack don't have enough Ohms to fully use any entry level headphones.
Most phone jacks have 18Ω power output, while any audiophile headphones around that price (Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro) requires 250Ω.

You *REALLY* need a DAC or some sort and the most common phone DACs come in the form of dongles, which draws both data and power from the socket.

That was true for the most part.

A lot of Friendster, MySpace, and Facebook people weren't into those memes, nor did they aware of their existence.

Little did we know, social media grew so exponentially that it had seemingly replaced old internet culture overnight.
Like edgy humors, not revealing your real name (power word), personal details, etc.

I like to analogize pre-Facebook internet users as the indigenous peoples of the internet who were being forcibly kicked out or changed due to social media settlers.
Not saying I missed the edgy shit, I was mostly on YouTube and DeviantArt during that time, but I do not like the current social media landscape either.

2016 edgy commentary era has destroyed a lot of communities on YouTube and I won't forgive them for it.

As someone who used to be active in YT art community since '08, the vibes changed for the worst as everyone suddenly wanted to be the Keemstars/Leafys of the art community.
Literally overnight, YouTube artists started beefing with each other for absolutely no reason then to create dramas, harassing kids over "cringe OCs" etc.

The last straw was when toxic degenerates like her walked into the scene and gained popularity. Image
YouTube art community has become better as it's going back to its roots and toxic cunts are getting less and less views, but I'll come back when the vibes has changed back to warm welcoming like 2008.

Probably a hot take but since America has a gun culture, and shit like this would never go away, why not every adult American just carry a piece?

No one will start blasting if people are carrying.

Them old west saloon cowboys got that figured that out 200 years ago.
You'd most likely get shot and curb stomped the moment you start flashing your piece in 19th century. Image
I mean srsly y'all Americans stop pretending to be Europeans and embrace the yee haws.

The reason why y'all there because you got kicked from Europe in the first place.

Probably a hot take but I think the reason why artists are having bad times lately are due to the sheer toxicity within the community.

They just can't seem to agree on things and keep fighting with each other, even from something as petty as fanfics or porn of characters.
Compare that with the IT community, which is essentially a worldwide collaborative effort that keeps competition healthy.

The Open Source movement, has such a clear ethos that they honor.
As someone who loves both art and technology, the sheer cultural/mindset difference could determine the future of both.

But that being said, I really don't like the animosities from the IT crowd against artists. And vice versa.

Shit like this is why we can't have nice things.

The term "woke" has lost its meaning. You can ask any rightoid and they'll give you different answers

Some would say hamfisted political messages that hurts the story is "woke", which is a valid argument

Some would also say a mere presence of minorities is "woke"

Inconsistent.
If anyone here uses "woke" unironically, please touch some pussy.
You have to be absolutely cognitively impaired to unironically use a monosyllabic word to describe something while actually can't really define what the word actually means.

I think this is what the kids would call a "brainrot".
