Listening to God in Time of Crisis

In a world with many things contending for our attention, how can we discern God’s voice and let Him be the one who shapes our vision amidst the distractions of the world?
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Here are 5 things I find helpful

1. Read
One of the ways in which God communicates with us is through His word. God speaks to us directly when we read the Bible. It’s like spiritual food for the day. Don’t simply read the Bible for information, but to hear God speaking to you.
2. Hear
I know you might be thinking that this is hard but it isn’t trust me. When you pray, don’t be in a hurry to wrap things up ask for feedback from God. Communication is a two-way thing, right? So, allow Him to speak back to you.
Don’t be so fixated on hearing His voice at first, God could speak through different means allow your spirit to be open to receive and it could be anywhere even when you least expect it. I note down anything I sense the Holy Spirit is saying as I pray.
3. Think
God has given us a mind, and He guides us through our minds and reason. He guides us as we think through an issue when we’re facing a big decision or need direction. He will never leave us in the dark, feed your heart constantly with things that edify it - Prov 4:23
4. Talk
Talk to the people God has placed in your life. A good friend won't only say nice things ( Prov 27:5). I am so grateful to my godly friends who have confronted me with painful truths out of love, sensitivity and grace. God speaks to us through the community of the Church.
5. Watch
God has a purpose for your life. You may not always have the comfort of understanding what He's doing or why life is the way it is, but you do have the comfort of knowing that He's in control. When facing a decision, just say, "Lord, this is in Your hands. I trust You"🙏

Thread on Employee Advocacy

1. As PR professionals, it's our job to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to industry trends &shifts. One trend that's increasingly important for us to pay attention to is the rise of employee advocacy
2. By empowering our clients' employees to share their stories and experiences, we can create a more authentic and engaging narrative for our brands. But how do we do this effectively?
3. One key is to focus on employee training and education. This means providing employees with the tools and resources they need to effectively communicate on behalf of the company, whether it's through social media, blog posts, or other channels.
