On this day, August 31, 1995, a powerful b0mb blast exploded outside the civil secretariat in Chandigarh, klling 17 people, including Punjab CM Beant Singh ji. More than 23 injured people were admitted to the hospital.
BKI teππorist organisation took responsibility for the klling. A human suicide bomber, ‘Dilwar Singh Babbar, was a serving Punjab Police officer who assassinated the CM of Punjab.
Teππorist Dilwar Singh Babar was recognised as a "qaumi shaheed" by Akal Takht. Dilawar’s portrait has been put on display at the Harmandir Sahib Museum.
The body of the late Beant Singh ji was severally mutilated; it was difficult to identify.
On September 19, 1995, police arrested a duo of father and daughter, Naseeb Singh and Harpreet Kaur (18 years old), in connection with hiding the explosion. 15 kg of RDX were recovered at their home.
Other people involved in this case:
Balwant Singh Rajoana was the backup suicide bomber who tied the bmb to Dilawar Singh. He was sentenced to d3ath and is now serving life imprisonment.
Jagtar Singh Hawara and Jagtar Singh Tara were the main accused in the b0mb blast case who went to buy the car found at the scene of the blast.
Gurmeet Singh, a resident of Mohali, prepared the bomb by filling an explosion in his waist belt.
Lakhwinder and Balwinder Singh were entrusted with the responsibility of removing the car from the spot after the explosion. But they failed.
Shamsher Singh transported RDX from the India-Pak border to Patiala and Ropar, where they kept making b0mbs.
Paramjit Singh Bheora provided aid to prime convict Jagtar Singh Hawara.
All of them were involved in the assassination of the Chief Minister of Punjab. All of them are "khalistani teπrorists," not "Bandi Singh" or "political prisoners".
Paying tributes to former Chief Minister Sardar Beant Singh ji on his 28th martyrdom day. His contribution to fighting against Khalistan terπorism will always be remembered.
Sadly, his assassins are still alive as their death sentences were reduced to life imprisonment, and the su*cide b0mber's photo is hanging in the Harmandir Sahib museum as "Shaheed".

Remembering the Great freedom fighter Shri Madan Lal Dhingra on his death anniversary🙏
Madan Lal Dhingra was arrested for the assassination of William Curzon. When the judge passed the death sentence, he saluted and said:
“Thank you, my lord; I am glad to have the honour of dying for my countrymen”.
He didn't say anything in his defence, and he didn't want any mercy from the English people. And he knew his death would make more Indians learn how to die fighting against British rule. His statement was entitled "Challenge".
He prayed to God that he may be reborn in the same country to serve the motherland again.
